Naw he's definitely done this time since this is nothing like the last time or the 3-4 times before that. This time is different because my cousin's gym teacher broke his foot once and he was never the same. 😆

My brother works with a guy who has a sister in medicine.  She stocks the "pain relief" section at a Kroger Grocery Store.   She said Tiger will have trouble walking and it will probably hurt more when it's cold.  She makes ambrosia for Thanksgiving and no one eats it.

Well, all the pics *are of his back.

But it’s not like TW to send the media on a wild goose chase for a few laughs or anything  ; )

People just don’t understand alien DNA.  Think like when a lizard loses his tail.

but seriously.  All these folks comparing a apex athlete to the recovery rate of grandpa and his hip replacement are just looney tunes.  Humans aren’t all the same.

I seem to recall a similar series of posts, mmm, not long before TDub won the Masters 2019. Just cannot count the GOAT out. That being said, again, I just don’t see it happening right away.

But could he make it happen in ‘23? Age means nothing to this guy.

Father time is undefeated. I can't be bothered to look at what I said earlier in this thread. But regardless of the video him swinging, I can't see him winning another major. Too old and too beat up and too many other good players on the scene.

I would even be somewhat surprised if we see him another regular event.

And I am a fan who love to see a  full comeback, just don't think it is all the realistic that he rises back to the top.

Depends on how he recovers.

As far as being too old and there being too many good players.

They ain’t that good ; )

Tigers got the double edge sword of plenty of injuries and age. Like I say I would love him to surprise me, but I have happily taken a few bets on him not winning another major (in the next 10 years)

Ha! Ya. It stinks that TW trashed himself.

I also think it’s unlikely he wins again. It’s not that he can’t get in shape to go out and go full bore for 4 rounds.

It’s that it will take months and months of going full bore day after day to get back the game to win.

And that’s just a bit much at this stage for TW I think.

Could catch lightning in a bottle like Jack in 86 though. Jack was pretty much seen as out to pasture then bam!

To be completely clear, several physicians on this and the other threads, including some orthopedists, but no Kroger stockers, have been consistent in saying that his injuries, based on fairly limited real info, were serious enough that his recovery could be longer than the short term others were wishful for. This seems to have been true. None of us, at least any I can remember, ever said he wasn’t coming back. In fact, many of us were hopeful that he does.

I am could be wrong, but I just don't see him willing to go out there and be mediocre. If does not feel like he can win majors I don't seem him playing. It would be fun to be wrong though.

I completely agree.

With that in mind, his team wouldn't be posting "Making progress" if he didn't have confidence he could compete again. Really don't see Tiger teasing the internet for Instagram likes.

Yeah but….think of all the years he didn’t play recovering from this or that.  Does that make him a young (almost) 46?

This makes perfect sense. But, again, we had this conversation a few years back. If it were anybody else, yeah; no way a guy could come back after all that damage. But he has. And I wouldn’t count him out to do it again.

One more time on the back nine of Augusta, the roars of the gallery ringing through the trees. Go TW.

What I’m takin bout!

Id like to see TW take his time though.

He beat the young chumps. Heck, Phil beat them just one month shy of his 52nd birthday!

TW build up some power. In his legs, his core, the glutes! Do deep muscle recruiting, low impact, cardio.

46 is nothing. I’m 53 and do burpees faster than this guy yo!

And I’m not even a CEO! 😂

My wife is an MD and when I asked her about Tiger Woods returning to golf she gave this breakdown:

”Return from where?”

I think that tells us everything..

close the thread…all our medical mysteries are solved

Hey Duct Tape! Excuse me as this isn’t a response to your post. I was just noticing that your avatar is simply the generic first letter of your username and wanted to suggest the pic. below. I think it would be kinda fun. But obviously up to you 😊
