New TM Mini coming?

I heard some chatter about a new TM Mini driver (limited release) coming in June,  $400 MSRP.  I don't know if the source was reliable or not.  I love my Original One so if anyone has info that would be great.

If so that  would be welcome.  I loved the original mini and should have never sold it. I would want this one to keep being a little more spinny unlike the Original One which was low spin and underwhelming.

The Big Tour is too small for me.  The STZ is larger than that head.

I have not heard about this. That would be interesting. I played an og one last year and liked it. Not sure I have a spot now but still think it would be a fun release.

So are mini drivers more or less heads in the size range of a 3 wood with a driver loft? This has my attention..

They are about 300cc so larger than a 3 wood and lofts are between 12 and 16. The original mini was 12/14/16 degrees and there was a tour only long hosel release of 10 degrees from what I recall.

I sold my 11.5 degree with the intention of picking up the 13.5 degree... and then couldn't really find the 13.5 at a reasonable price afterwards. This would very much have my attention. I think mini drivers are perfect for golfers like me who like to tee their driver a little lower and hit it with a more neutral angle of attack.

 

I have a TM driver fitting coming up on Tuesday so I'll ask about it.

So I saw the info sheet for this. It is the TM 300 mini driver. I talked to a TM rep. It will be released on June 11.

It’s three wood length so any three wood shaft is available.

 

300 cc vs. 325 for the OG.

 

Where as the OG was more little driver. This is more large fairway wood. Think two wood. It has a different sole that is supposed to be better off the fairway. Slightly shallower face compared to the OG.

I didn’t think sim at all when I saw it. Silver face black and red again if I remember correctly.

If you think sim driver correct. It has the V sole plate the fairway woods have. Yes silver face.

They did a 14* tour version with the long .335 hosel, I have one.

this excites me! OO was such a good and consistent club. Bit of a one trick pony but I loved the low launch low spin. It was definitely the straightest club in my bag and I found myself hitting it out of pure enjoyment
