Best Polo for bigger belly/short guy

Anyone recommend a brand that is roomier in the torso/stomach area but still more fit on the shoulders and sleeves are not super long. 
 

I wear medium Fairway and Greene. Medium FootJoy and like their torso fit but the top and sleeves are huge.

I like Peter Millar myself. They are pretty roomy but not hugely so in the arms. One thing you MIGHT consider is trying to find tall sizes. That way you get the extra length to help. I lost 100 pounds in the last year and talls were the only thing that helped me previously.

im on the same journey.  Would like to lose 50lbs.  Every day is a struggle. I’m only down 10lbs in 2 weeks but holy hell is 100 amazing.

Man, glad I found this thread.  I am 5 feet 9.  My arms are thin.  Legs thin (I have had ladies I dated say, “I wish I had your legs minus the hair”).  Sort of wide shoulders and decent chest.  But belly, yeah that’s the bad part.  My height with thin arms and legs and weigh 235.  Polo shirt with best fit for me?

I’m fat also.  36 inch waist and about 40-50 lbs. overweight.  Clothes just don’t fit well at all on us.  We need to stop eating.

Congrats bro.  Wow, 100 pounds is A LOT to lose.  Almost a whole person.  I bet you did it with a solid diet plan and lots of cardio and strength training.  I have a client who lost 60 pounds over a year.  I admire those who are willing to be disciplined enough with their diets and willing to put in the work to get into better shape/health.

Thanks a lot! It was a combo of diet (keto) and exercise (walking golf vs. riding) and that made all the difference. The last 3-4 weeks have been less disciplined, and while I want to be playing more golf, it's been slower going. 🙂 If I can get down to 215 or so (another 15 pounds down) then I'll go into maintenance mode and feel great!

Damn!! Down from 315 to 215!!!  Congrats!! Currently at 262 down from 277 4 weeks ago.  Want to get to 220.  The struggle is real!  Always struggled with weight.  Best of luck and best wishes.

5'9" 195 here, nike standar fit large, adidas large and puma large made the cut for me. I've had more of a barrel frame, big legs and wide-short arms haha. UA got a weird build in bigger sizes. You could try size up in JL or RLX, xl regular (never slim fit) are great on torso and lenght but for some weird reason they made super skinny sleeves. I'm talking exclusively of poly shirts cause down here the avg tempt whole year is above 35 celsius

Peter Millar. I'm 5'9" and I've fluctuated in weight from about 175-190 over the last couple of years (depends on how much time I'm spending on the bike vs. on the golf course) and PM stuff has looked great all the way through that spectrum. Plenty of stretch with room, but not baggy. Really tough to beat.

I have pretty much restocked my closet with Johnnie-O shirts.  The fit in arms and shoulders is great and it fits great throughout.  The best explanation is that the material fits each part of the body.  And feel is great.

Another good option is RLX or Polo Golf in their classic fit.  I find they fit very similar to Peter Millar regular fit polos.
