Didn’t hear Alison Whitaker today (albeit possibly an oversight on my part).

Mainly Kate Burton, Su-Ann Heng and Tim Low

Details of the commentators/ coverage =per this NBC Link.

Quietly 5-under today, but i haven't spotted SYR on TV once?

They didn't show SoYeon at all if i recall right (still sleepy!) ... all mostly SHP and her travails.   Along with Minjee putting woes... quite a ton of Patty long bombs too... etc etc... along with that annoying buzzing or cricket sound on my feed early on LOL...

Kate Burton's voice is so distinct I know it's an Asian event even without looking at the TV if Kate's voice all of a sudden shows up on the GC (eg say, I'm doing something else and the GC shifts programming from say, an US event to an Asian event LOL)

Don't forget Mi Hyang in South Carolina. Didn't MJ buy a place in Texas? Jin Young recently bought a place there, too.

That's right... JYK talked about using the cme prize $ to buy a house in Texas, she even joked that other players may get mad at her for winning cme with so few events played

Unfortunately she started on the 10th tee. Unless a player is on pace to shoot a record score they're generally not going to reposition the camera crews away from the feature groups.

Do Korean players have a fear of alligators, none go to Florida lol  Don't let "Florida Man" scare you, bath salts are much harder to get these days.

That would be hilarious if others complained about it.

I'm an " It is what it is" type guy but IMO opening up the 1 Million prize to everyone who qualifies for the CME, takes away all meaning and ability to give a reward to those who played best all season, like maybe the Top 10 qualifiers play for the Million and everyone else plays for 1st which I think pays around 600K for this event.  JYK followed the rules as they are set out, so she has no beef from me, the rule on the other hand I don't like.  The unintended consequence is get Top players skipping free points weeks, cause the Korda's, Lexi, Austin and Brooke could probably skip the rest of the season and still qualify for the CME.  In these Covid times, it is tough to predict how people are willing travel though.

I actually prefer Arizona over Florida, if I had a choice (i have none LOL).   Then again, I prefer BC over Ontario and look where I am these days.  😛

Can I just say how deeply sympathetic I am to all of you North Americans to have a tournament on at such an inconvenient time. My heart bleeds for you, it really does.

One of the problems following golf is that we don't normally see out of form players, even though we might be interested in their travails. But yesterday I got to see a fair slab on Nasa Hataoka, Ariya Jutanugarn, Sung Hyung Park and Minjee Lee. And even Danielle Kang, who seems to have slipped a bit.

I have thought recently that Ariya will now most likely miss the Olympics unless her form turns around soon. I now think this could be true of Nasa Hataoka also. Sung Hyun has virtually no chance, with a host of form players vying for the fourth spot. And Minjee and Danielle?

If Minjee is not careful, she will fall behind Hannah Green in the world rankings.  They really are not that far apart and Hannah has played some good golf recently.  Though, I still think that Minjee is the better all around player, she is going to have to pick up her game to avoid trading places with Hannah.

Minjee had another of her frustrating rounds where she missed a number of makeable birdie putts. Danielle and Jin Young had the same problem.

Maybe, I missing her shots but I haven't a Hannah Green shot and she's tied for the lead.  Other thing I don't  think it's that hard she basically 200 yrds from Inbee park till she finishes

There's been quite a bit of Hannah shown, esp the past hours eg 1030-1130pm ET now... On the other hand only a few SU Oh sightings, one was a missed birdie putt on hole #4 after she bogeyed #3 😂. Can't believe JYK playing this badly. Prolly checked out already thinking about heading home to Korea.

Yes, can't miss Hannah Green today with her canary yellow skirt
(and 6-under for R2 thru 17holes;
7-under overall & on Leaderboard first page)

Just looked at the LPGA leaderboard and cannot help but see, very prominently, next to each name either a blank or TITLEIST.

So who is getting the money the ball maker is paying for this advert?  And why no other ball maker, like Srixon or Volvik, are seen?

IMO, shady dealings which do not help but one party.

Really? It's a simple answer. Titleist is purchasing that advertising space for their golf ball/equipment endorsers. Money is going directly to the LPGA which it should. Why do you think another golf ball manufacturer is not shown on a Titleist $ponsored leaderboard? It's not shady.

Do you really think Titleist or any other advertiser is going to let a direct competitor advertise their brand in something they didn't pay for? Do you see Burger King advertising their product within a commercial paid for by McDonalds? <smh> that this needs to be explained.

Right. Titleist pays to have their logo exclusively listed on the leaderboard. Not a lot different than the 'Shot of the Day' or 'Round of the Day' segments sponsored by Company X.

Not a heck of a lot of movement in the 2nd round. A few rounds were better than most, e.g. Ally, Hannah, Carlota, but otherwise it seems like a day to try and not lose ground.

Nice to see Hee Young hanging in there. I think she's enough of a veteran to not get rattled playing with Inbee.

What's with the background distractions? Last week it was the incessant leaf blowers. This week it sounds like a truck/cart backing up. Sheesh.

Don't know when I became an over night Hannah fan lol.  I do like those aggressive ballstrikers.  Brooke and Sei Young Kim are  basically 1(a) and  1(b) for my favorite players.  I honestly think they are the exact same players with identical skill sets, just one model was designed in Korea and the other in Canada lol  There is one big difference though, one of them can put you through a wall with her martials arts training lol
