I picked up a set of mp-60s on ebay for 200. 3-pw, some bag chatter but that's it. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw no one else was bidding. What are some of the best deals you have found?

I picked up an M5 driver and fairway with Tensei White 70X shafts for $300. Paid the same for a set of s56 irons with PX shafts and new grips!

i'm planning on selling the rest of it and see if i can get my scotty for free.

 

i also bought a near mint apex 19 hybrid for $60, didn't have a headcover, noticed what looked like cracks forming in the shaft around the ferrule after my first round. called callaway, they sent me a brand new one for free, and it came with a headcover.

Several years ago in a driving range pro shop i found a Titleist 905T with a graphite design PM702, which was a holy grail shaft like 15 years ago....For something like 75$

 

And i don't mean recently, i found this in like 2006 or 2007 and the 905 was almost mint

About 7 years ago I won a set of Titleist 680's with rifle 6.5 shafts from Goodwill auctions. Because of a title error and Goodwill demanding a pick up only option for the irons I got them for 70$. They cleaned up real nice and was my first experience with a titleist blade.

Back in late 2018 I nabbed a nice looking 5-PW set of Ping i200 red dot irons for $269 on ebay after a 10% off coupon deal they were offering at the time. This was before sales tax was being charged. I can easily sell them now for well over that and it's 2 1/2 years later.

Many over the years but I think getting 4 years out of $139 barely used Amp Cell Pro irons was a good one.

In a Japanese retailer used bin, two 818 H1 hybrids that looked they had never been hit, in lofts I wanted, with AD-DI Hybrid shafts installed for the equivalent of 200 USD.  This at a time when a single shaft AD-DI hybrid shaft would have been $200 from any US vendor.

Have you not seen my NOS KZG blades I stole? Every time I hit these damn things I am blown away.

 

But I get it now. KZG's are crap on the secondary market because nobody knows what they are. I sure as hell didn't and wouldn't pay retail to find out. But now that I know, I might go through a fitting to see what we find out.

In the last 2 weeks lucked into a 3-PW set of Ping ISI-k for $60 in good but dirty shape.  Guy mislabeled them on the listing and had horrendous pics so I took a chance.    Cleaned them up and hooked up a guy from my course.  Same week got a set of 5-PW i210s in amazing shape for just under $300 including shipping.  Both on eBay.   I figured if I didn’t like them easy flip.

Found brand new Vega 01-DC 4-pw heads for 500.  They were in my bag for 10 years.  The Miura Tour 58* in my bag was 150 brand new.

My entire bag has been great finds, almost all through Craigslist.

Driver Ping G30 with tour shaft- paid $35 as sole is pretty worn

hybrids ping G15 17* and 20* - paid $40 for a set of 17, 20, 23, and 26 then sold the 23 and 26 for $50 so came out ahead on this one.

ping G30 irons 4-L (10 irons) in pristine condition for $215 then $65 to have ping bend them to white dot

ping tour black nickel 60* unused from a golf shop for $50

 

Last year I also bought a set of ping G20 irons 4-SW (9 irons) for $165 which I played for last season but have since been taken over by my son.

Estate sale in Preskit, AZ!  Very well to do business man & golfaholic had so much stuff they listed everything for $10 each.  Scotty putters, custom Footjoy shoes...  I had a field day!  If I had to do it over again I woulda bought everything and resold what I didn’t want, but I kept it reasonable.

That PM702 was the prototype for the AD DI and was built by GD for Phil Mickelson.  Still in my back up bag and still hits bombs (when in my son’s hands!)

Found a SeeMore at Golf Galaxy for $30 about 8 years ago...right time and price for when I was struggling.

 

Last year, a clean nearly complete set of 845s and a single strap Sun Mountain Sunday bag at work that was ready to be tossed. All in was maybe $40 to add 2 more of the irons.

Back in the day, I got a nearly new BBD Type H proto with Fuji Sapphire for around $50.  Also got my current set of irons, z745s, barely used for $350 and now can't find any sets in that condition.  I've been looking for a backup set but none are close.

 

I know there are others but I can't remember them.
