An OG Scotty Newport 2 putter on Craigslist for $25. Was in surprisingly good shape. Just needed a little refresh and it was good to go.

Somehow both of mine are Callaway Apex Pro related.

 

I bought a set of open box Apex Pro 19 with Modus 120 from GolfPartnerUSA for $425 shipped.  Loved them, hated the cup face sound and feel so sold them.

 

Found out about the dots so started looking and bought a set of dots in excellent condition for $600 that ended up being double dots with TC serial number NEW in plastic. 
 

Phenomenal irons and still in my bag.

2 Cameron Tei3 putters. Newport 2 long neck and Del Mar Long slant. Both beat up, one with a cover (I think). Paid $200 for both.

 

Sent them to be refinished both came back in spectacular condition.  Kept the Long Slant sold the Long Neck.  Final price to me (after buying the putters, getting them refinished etc).  $0

 

So, I had to take time, and go through are few hoops - but I have a near mint Del Mar 2 long slant for free.

My best deals weren’t even on clubs. At one point Play It Again Sports didn’t realize what their golf stuff was worth. Stopped in one day and found a NWT Last Bag Collegiate for $20 and a pair of never worn TW14’s in the red/black colorway for $15, in my size at that.

Titleist 712 CB 3-PW and 917 D2 Driver for $185 total, both barely used. 

 

Sold the irons for a profit, used the driver shaft as a bonus upgrade in another deal I was making, and built up a new shaft combo for the driver head from spare parts.  Hard to find a better deal than a free 917D2.

Nike Method Origin B2-01 "Rors" edition putter in the used rack at Golf Galaxy. In nearly flawless condition. $40.

 

I mean, the thing was criminally priced for the non-Rors edition Method Origin. I have no idea what happened there. My guess is that whoever priced the thing couldn't find the putter in the PGA Value Guide and so just priced it at the generic lowest level Nike putter price.

Bought a TaylorMade M4 driver new from Carl's Golfland for $250 after the M5/6 was released.  They sent me 2 of them.  I called and told them, and they said return the extra and we'll mark it return with no refund.  They refunded me anyway.  I still have that free M4 in my travel/don't care if the airlines break it bag.

dude, I got the same woot deal years back but I think you may be mistaken, they were about $10 a dozen.  Still an incredible deal for a great golf ball but not $3.33/dozen.

you got suckered then, haha. They were $10 a dozen on Woot, but when delivered it was really 3 dozen bagged together, so I bought 12 dozen for $10 per but got 36 dozen delivered, on two separate runs of that deal.

Mizuno mp60's for $107. the swing weight was all jacked up though.

 

Traded a nice condition taylormade putter for a beat up SC Golo 3, then traded the golo 3 for 15 dozen taylormade tp5 practice golf balls.  later bought another 20 dozen at $10/dozen from the same person.

wow, lucky you!  Mine arrived in 12pc brown boxes.

 

Loved the lethal.  Was a sad day when I used my last one.

I had a couple voltages. I also bought out 15 Synergy 2's when the 100mph rule went into effect, about $200 profit each. Best for me was denting $40 Easton Tri-shells on a bowling ball and magically turning them into $300 Easton Synergy Extendeds. My wrists/hands hated me, but it paid for my softball tournament fees and golf greens fees for a couple years.

Yeah, The Cobra leaks are awesome. I didnt get this last one, but they also did that a few years back. It accidentally included their selection of shafts. I loaded up on Graphite Design. It feels like the discount was higher than 40% for that 'oops', but I cant specifically remember since it was so long ago.

There have been some steals in the Goodwill thread. I got a Scotty Cameron Detour putter and a Callaway XR 3 wood for $2.99 each. Used them as trade-ins for a set of used Mizuno irons and the Ping G30 Hybrid that I still use today.

That deal and when the Flex/Extended dropped to under $200 were unreal.
