I think what you're looking for is called a "hybrid".

Funny - but joking or not - I actually just put one of my wife's old Bertha 19 hybrids onto a mens shaft to see if I would like it as some kind of frankenstein club and after setting it up it pretty much looks like a 'small fairway wood'.

SGI hybrids are huge and can pretty much be called woods at this point. I consider the 'pro' hybrid models that look like the old Adams hybrids more like actual hybrid shapes.

Cobra f6 baffler

adjust lost to 21*

Actually have the F6 Baffler sitting in a closet, I just don’t believe their loft settings truly change that much. The Baffler is way too long to fit the spot a 7 wood does, depending on the setting it’s like 4-5 wood for me but it’s an amazing club which is why I’ll hold

I think the baffler is adjustable from 16 to 19 degrees of loft. So yeah, too strong for a 7 wood.

Any comparison on head size for tsi2 and tsr2 7 woods?

To my eye they are the same. The TSR might look a fraction larger just because of the white scoring lines on the face, but I'm quite sure they are the same volume.

All the recent Titleist 7 woods are reasonably compact.

If you're looking for an even slimmer package, I would try the Callaway UW 21.

Anyone experimented with a tsr3 18 shortened and lifted up to 7 wood loft?  Liked the looks of the tsr3 head better

No, but the most you could get it to would be +1.5, so 19.5 degrees, and it would have a noticeably closed club face. I find that when I go up .75 the face stays pretty neutral, but when you go to +1.5 it's clearly closed, which is a no-go for me.

Got it.  that makes sense and agree.  Generally higher lofted clubs lofted down are visually better for me as well

Great thanks

N.P. The TSi2 7 wood was great. I had it in the bag since the day it came out. Only recently switched to a 19 degree UW to reduce spin a smidge. Picked up a couple yards, but nothing major. The TSI and I would assume TSR2 7 woods are stupid easy point and shoot clubs.

How was the 7 wood at playing different trajectory tee shots?

Good. I could hit it low and high within reason. high was obviously easier than low.

Would love a tsr3 7 wood so much. I know it's a bit nitpicky but tsr2 is pretty high pitched at impact.

From comparing TSi and TSr, I would say that both are probably around the same size and probably the smallest of the ones I have seen in person so far.

Wedges: CBX2 48, Taylormade Hi-Toe 3 54, 58

In my humble opinion, the TSR was noticeably smaller from what I saw

Has anyone seen an Aerojet 7W in person yet? I’m actually looking for something a little bigger than the TSR2, but deeper faced than the G430 and Paradym. (Lefty here, so the Apex UW and Stealth 2 aren’t options sadly.)

Driver: Ping G430 LST 9* | Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6X

3W: Ping G430 Max @14* | Fujikura Speeder NX Blue 70X

7W: Ping G430 Max @20* | Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8X (or sometimes G430 3H with Tour 2.0 Chrome 85S)

4 Utility: Ping iCrossover @23.5* | Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95X (or sometimes G430 5H at 25* with Tour 2.0 Chrome 85S)

Irons: Ping i230 5-UW | Fujikura AXIOM 105X

Wedges: Callaway Jaws Raw 54/12W@55/13W, 60/12X | Nippon Modus 125 Wedge

Putter: Bettinardi 2024 BB1 Wide
