I can only speak to the P790 and JPX921 line. The 790s are more comparable to the 921 Hot Metal / Hot Metal pro in size and from a contruction perspective, the HM are cast but not hollow body like the P790. After testing the 921 line and 790/770, I found it really hard to go from the looks of the 921 forged to something chunkier like the P790 and I had trouble hitting it after going smaller. It was a close call between what I went with 921 Forged and P770 and I went with the Mizuno because I liked/wanted something that was truly forged. All the lofts are different but they're all great clubs, so enjoy the research / testing and you'll enjoy whatever you buy.

i do, but I dont care, the real question is why did PJ cancel the tour and not replace it with American shows a la DMB. I used to eye the 10 club forum as I troll around here, but haven’t in a while, Eddie is playing Global Citizens but are there any rumors of PJ american dates?

btw, out of those, they have similar soles, unless you mean the jpx tours, which have awesomely thin soles. I think I’m the only guy who have the HMB’s and didn’t like the 5,6&7 irons. That said, I do play a slightly weakened hmb 3iron in my main bag. 
 

Here’s a little tidbit I overheard. I was at a golf course in Florida this week, it’s an incredibly expensive resort course with a PXG rep on the range every day with a whole fitting cart. Anyways, a kid my age (30’s) comes up to the rep for a scheduled fitting, the fitter ends up making a phone call to his higher up and says “I have Mr, soandso here, his dad is a member at concession and he spoke to a rep there who said since we (pxg) are low on Gen2 stock, he could get a gen3 fitting and order them at Gen2 prices.” The fitter then confirmed this with the kid my age. So try to get in on that deal if you go pxg. 
 

edit: so that would be $129 per stick instead of $199.

I demoed the T200's at 2 places trying to like them, but they didn't perform for me.

 

I went to club champion and was fitted for all you have listed except JPX921's  

 

The 790's won hands down for what I was looking for- I was coming from blades Ben Hogan Ft. Worth for 4 seasons in the south.  We play year around.

 

- It wasn't a big adjustment in looks for me - The extra performance has been great and they have been fantastic this season.

Pearl Jam does it right. If they played golf they’d prob be in mizuno. I sense it.

I got fitted today. Tried the hot metal pros, t200s, p790.

 

Honestly I went in there thinking I would go P790 or the mizunos.. The p790s just felt weird to me. Every time i hit them, they would fly.. but it felt like i was slapping the ball. The mizunos felt good, but could not get over the thick top line. It just looked weird to me. The last one I hit were the t200. First thing I noticed was how the topline looked sleek but not intimidating. I dont think they were as forgiving as the p790 and HMP, but they felt like butter whn struck right. It also made me more conscious of how I was hitting.

 

Overall, I havent decided but I think I am gonna go with either the hot metal pros or t200.
