Soooooooooooo Ping STILL has Beryllium Copper and Beryllium Nickel putters...brand new. They don't MAKE them, but they still have NEW but old inventory.... :)

You all read that right....while Ping doesn't make BeCu and or BeNi putters anymore....that doesn't mean that they don't have new old stock....  😉

I was able to grab a brand new LH BeCu Anser 4  and a brand new LH BeNi Anser 4 and I've also ordered a new BeNi B60....

How old are those?  I’d love a new 80s vintage MnBn MyDay.  You can’t beat the feel and it is really hard to get decent light putters these days...

I haven't seen these models, but Mortons has a couple of new Anser 1/2/4, and Zing 1/2 models available. The "baked" finish does patina just like the old BeCu for those that are wondering. They come with the Ping standard stepless shaft and the PP58 pingman grip.

The PGA store by me will randomly have runs of NOS PING's out for sale, so there have to be some laying around a warehouse somewhere. How on earth you get them I have no idea, but they do seem to be around

Perhaps the OP has no intentions of doing so. Not sure why - they're cool items to have but the allure of old pings is that they are in no way exotic. That's what I like most about them.

I believe his next post will show all the prices of all the putters.  Then his next post after that will show all the prices plus with tax. Then his next post after that will show all the prices with tax and shipping.  Then his next post after that will be photos of the boxes as they came in at his front door.  Then his next post after that will be photos of him unboxing the putters.  Then he’ll come back 5 years later and post, Oops I forgot to tell you where I got them.  A friend sent these to me.  Thanks y’all.

Sorry! Mortons!  I worked with a wonderful lady at Mortons.  I originally had asked about the possibility of a solid copper Anser 4.....she replied that Ping couldn't do that BUT that they still had NOS BeCu Anser 4's.  Since I currently came a BeNi Anser 4, I asked about that and she said they had NOS of those as well.  Hence why I ordered both.

 

Soo, contact Morton's about availability.

In response to AzSuperHack76, these are ALL brand new old stock.  Ping hasn't made any BeCu or BeNi putters...since the early 90's?  Whenever the EPA announced that Beryllium was carcinogenic when in dust form and breathed in, Ping stopped production. 

Nothing beats the feel of BeCu and or BeNi!

The originals did not have the Pingman graphic on them.  Those pictured are a re release. Still old but not the originals.

All the BeNi and BeCu's that I've seen had the Pingman on them.  All 3 of my Anser 4's....have the "Pat Pending" in the cavity which if, I'm not mistaken meant that it's original.  The newer versions still made ago.....actually had a patent number.

What's the weight on these BeNi and BeCu putters? I assume stupid light, just have to see how much lead tape I need.
