I don't find supporting your neighbor to be amusing.  I do my best whenever possible and work for a US manufacturer myself.  We support our town well and they're grateful to have us.

Mizuno contracts out forging in Japan for some of their heads then the raw heads are sent to China for finishing operations and plating.   Many other heads are wholly made in China.

Wow I forgot about these.  Like The Skulls of club makers, if I remember correctly you sign an agreement to not discuss your build process or resell your equipment if purchased.  I could be wrong

Correct.  You have check which model Mizuno.  I'm not sure if any of their cast clubs are made in Japan.

Thank you Fujikura for responding. I have a question. I ordered a Ventus blue with velecore shaft with my sim 2 from TaylorMade.  On the packing list sticker it said the shaft was made in China. Was this a mistake on the packing list?  Where are the velecore Ventus made that I bought?

Very true but as it relates specifically to golf, the manufacturing process of heads, shafts and grips is not very labor intensive.  Most of the work is automated and generally supervised by a few people overseeing the process.  So a factory to make these components, while initially an investment in the community via planning, construction, etc may not be a long term driver of substantial economic activity.  A factory making club heads is very different from one making cars from a labor standpoint and, as you allude to, labor is the main local economic benefit of any manufacturing facility.

Everyone assembles in US.

Callaway is assembled Mexico unless you are Phil Mickelson

These folks seem a bit over the top, has any forum member ever seen one of these clubs? Or would you burst into flames for even talking about it. 

I personally do not have the income stream to even try to be a candidate and it fascinates me to no end to be fit to the level they claim and to be all American made is even better. 

The sad part is the scores would probably stay about the same anyway.
