I saw all of his posts and was under the impression you couldn’t post multiple items in multiple threads...I’m kinda new to buying and selling on here though so didn’t want to comment on anything that I wasn’t sure about.   Hopefully a mod can take those ads down or something.

Number 1...not the right Forum to bring this up to begin with.

Number 2...I'm going to give this the 24 hour rule...something isn't adding up...and I'm sure Jeff would like a word.

Na he ripped me off for $200 this morning on the TSI3.  Because he wanted zelle I said I would pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 upon receipt.  He agreed.  I paid the $200 then he said he wife said he needed to get it all upfront and asked if I wanted to pay for it all or a refund.  I asked for a refund.  He then told me he wouldnt be refunding the $200 and would only ship if I sent the additional $200.

Classic situation of too good of a price and a shady request for non-protected payment request.  Sorry to hear you got ripped of $200...

 

Jeff's been around awhile...surprised this is happening.  Did his account get hacked or maybe he's had some "life" issues recently causing this behavior?

yeah i know hence my hesitation to send it all at once.  I know I am not getting the $200.00.  I have bought enough items on here and various other sites to know the risks associated.  I made a decision, Ill live with it.  I reported to mods, was concerned others might get had too. He had good feedback and had been a member since 2012 so I rolled the dice.

Just went back to my messages with him and that doesn't match the way he wrote to me at all. Completely different tone, punctuation, capitalization, and message structure

I inquired about the Srixon irons...obviously the account has been flagged so I got a message about this thread.  Honestly though...moment it would have been anything other than Paypal (with protection)  I would have moved on.  Been burned in the past...

Jeff literally just bought a head over from me earlier this week. No issues and a very quick PayPal payment. I think he got hacked

I messaged him this morning about the Mizuno irons he had listed. Once I said no to Zelle he left the convo. I messaged him again and invited him to tell his story in this thread. No response. Not sure what’s going on, but something is definitely up with the account.

Last night for the Tsi3 listing. 
 

He sent copy and pasted messages. Said his PayPal account was locked due to a gun sale. Then asked for zelle payment. I declined.

Same here about the TSi3.  The way he wrote made it seem as if it wasn’t a native English speaker and then when he only asked for Zelle I declined.  I think he’s hacked and it’s not him.

Definitely copy and posted from other ads. I remember a listing for a TSi3 driver recently with the same description for the same head and shaft combo

Had the same issue with the zforged irons last night. I figured he had been hacked as it wasn’t adding up when they said they wouldn’t do PP and would only accept zelle or skrill...

I made him an offer on the brand New Z- forged and when he only took Velle I said I only do paypal.

He sent me a yahoo email address to pay via PayPal that was "marcus" @yahoo.com

 

Could have been a friend but I said no thank you.
