8.2 and I play Ping G400 14.5 with a Alta stiff shaft and my backup is a TS3 with Evenflow T1100 (I game TS3 when I switch my driver from Ping G400 to TS2). I bang both about the same distance (250yds) and love both equally but I could work the Titleist both ways while the Ping generally flies straight to fadey.

Will be 80 in June. Been playing since 1962 (59 years). Handicap is currently 18 but am working to get it back to 15-16. My 3-wood is an oldie but goodie, KZG 15 degree Maraging Power with a Grafalloy ProLite shaft that has a tiny R next to the ProLite, probably indicating regular flex, and on the opposite side of the label says 35+. If memory serves, KZG was one of if not the first to use maraging steel faces. They were hot. Now I have begun to see other clubs touting maraging steel. What goes around. I get a fair amount of use out of my 3W because I play the second tees in from the tips, usually blue or white, on courses where those range from 6100 to 6800 yards. My average drive is 225-235, so on long par 4s, the ones that range from 400-440, I definitely have to use a 3 wood or 19 degree hybrid and accept I have to play them like par 5s. For many years I have played forged blades, usually Mizunos, with standard weak lofts (7 iron 36 degrees), so on shorter par 4 holes I use anything from PW to 4 iron.

I'm 10 HC and I play the SIM 3w set at 13* it has a Diamana D+Plus Limited 80tx in it. There's a 40 yard gap between my 3w and 3i. On a good day I can get my 3w out there around 280-285 but going for the green in two on long par 5's is possible with it.

The face is hot, comes out low and goes for days. Now if I set the loft at standard it'd be different but I've had it in my bag awhile now and I love it.

For what it's worth, I hit it off the deck better than the tee at times. It has really good turf interaction.

HC is currently 5.8.

Playing a TourEdge CBX 119 15* 3 Wood. Love it's versatility. Great off the tee, tight lies, and surprisingly the rough.

Around 2-6 depending on what the stakes are 😉

I switch off between a S2h2 with a gd purple ice 65 tipped and a great big Bertha warbird with a proforce 75 tipped. Great off the tee and easy to hit off the deck for myself.

Purple Ice is one of the best fairway shafts ever made.

I have a G425 LST 3W on order but upon arrival will have the option to try both LST and MAX before deciding. I recently got fitted into G425 LST due to high spin/high ball flight and enjoying the driver.

I do see that tour players and others don't typically go all LST Driver, 3W, 5W but rather a LST driver and Max for their fairways. Can anyone shed some light why would this be and what are the critical decision factors for LST vs. MAX on fairway woods?

Currently a 3.3

Gaming the SIM Ti 15 degree with a Hzardous Smoke 70-6.0 S

The SIM Ti is by far the best looking, hottest, longest and best feeling 3W I've ever hit. If I ever lose my mind and sell it, I need to be beaten.

L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. 4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
