Sorry, I realize I wasn’t very clear. I’m saying, considering fitters/reps are talking about the i59 but there’s no mention of any other models, I can’t imagine there’s an i500 replacement coming this summer.

This is a good looking ping iron. I am not typically a fan of their stuff but I like this one. I thought the Iblade was the best iron for the past maybe 10 years but this looks great..

Since Marty said that they are exited about the "technology" in these irons, it makes me think they are more than just bigger blueprints.

Yes. There has to be some special sauce in it.

I hope that is in the longer irons as I do not have the game for a "iBlade-sized Blueprint".

I think I’m going to pair a Glide 3.0 50 w/ mine and just go 4-P in the i59 even if they have a UW

Long irons are where the iblades shine, they are basically GI clubs with less offset in the long irons. Seems like if they were to add special sauce it would be more about getting distance than forgiveness, which a hollow/thinner type club would do. I’m still skeptical they go that route w iblade replacement, but it makes sense tech wise.

I have heard these will have some tech in them. They were compared to p770

"Tech" could just be grooves (looks like more grooves on these = Spinsistency?) or finish (hydropearl 3.0?) or some other design to make them super consistent in all conditions and on slight mis-hits. I suppose this will likely be part of the story regardless of whether or not the longer irons are hollow. They (we?) are doing a good job building hype for these.

These look very, very nice. I'm really hoping the eventual i210 replacement has the same general appearance at address (I personally love the blunted toe) in a more forgiving package.

Or would expect the i525 to be released with the i59, right? Strange that there hasn’t been a peep about the i525.

The best looking Ping Blade type heads I've seen.  Love the look and shape at address...Hoping for the performance of a blade having the forgiveness of a players CB on mis-hits.  In the running for my next set of irons.

i sincerely hope they aren't too much club for me because I want them in a bad way
