I’d like more up to date info, ( search showed results many years ago) best public courses in the Lake Norman area.Thanks

Cant say it has changed over the years. Verdict Ridge, Mooresville, and Rocky River are probably the best bets.

Charlotte public golf leaves a bit to be desired. I’d add Skybrook to the list above. The greens are great since the new greens were installed a few years ago.

Did you end up playing any of those courses? I’ll be down there next week and I’m looking to play as well. Verdict Ridge looks nice but not sure it’s public?

 VR is semi. But you can only play certain days if you are not a member I believe.

I just finished playing Mooresville. Fun little course and was in great shape. Not a bad walk either which is nice. For the price I’d definitely play it again.
