I felt cheated about buying from Club Champions after hearing this ... I'm calling it SHAFTGATE!!!

I was fit with CC several times and in all instances - i asked for my shafts back on my irons since I was going to use the heads but not the shafts.    In both instances, when my clubs were ready I had the shafts and the new clubs built and ready to roll.   

 

I am willing to bet if you buy the irons and different shafts and if you ask your fitter for the shafts you will get them once the clubs are completed and returned.

Buyer Beware ! Went for a fitting in Brandon Fl resulting in a Taylor Made Stealth 2 HD Driver. I waited 3 weeks more than the 10 working days stated. Called the main office and was told it is not in stock. was told it would be another week. Another call, they have another new date. As of today I have not had a single call from them. Fitting date 9/13/23. I have made another call on 10/23/22 the club has a new date of 11/3/22  I have asked them to refund the $ 599.99  head cost,  ship the shaft, fitting & grip keep all the tax money and I will go 5 miles down the road to Dick's who has 5 on the rack. They said No you will have to wait for us to receive driver at which time they will put a rush on getting it shipped. SOooo I'm stuck. This could go on for who knows how long. After 5 promise dates and making 7 phone calls, I will end this the way I began BUY BEWARE  customer .

Call credit card company to see if they can help to cancel the order

Interesting - I have multiple shafts lying around my garage that were stock from fittings/purchases from Club Champion.   Was a couple years ago so I honestly can't recall if I brought an existing club in and they just gave me the original back - but regardless they did return the shaft.  Also - full disclosure.  I set up a fitting for new wedges this year.  They called me to cancel the fitting to save me the $$$ and said they'd put the new heads on the previous shaft (which they had fitted for me 2 years prior).  Net is, they ABSOLUTELY charge for a premium experience, but in several years of dealing with the Cary NC location I do feel like they've played 100% fair.
