Trackman Shot Analysis session not showing up on mytrackman.com?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've sent this question to Trackman support too, but I am not sure they respond to consumers just using one of their products. I am pretty new to TPS and how it works, but my local range is a Trackman Range so I already have a Trackman account, a local installation of TPS on a laptop, and the Trackman Golf Android app on my phone, all logged in to the same account.

I was at an indoor facility today and was hitting shots in Shot Analysis mode. I was logged in on their TPS installation, but I never manually hit any upload button. I was hoping it would upload to the cloud automatically, which it also seems to have done. I can see the shots on my Android phone under the Activity tab. But, on https://mytrackman.com/#my-activities I can not see the Shot Analysis session, only my other Practice sessions from my Trackman Range facility. Anyone knows what's going on? Does https://mytrackman.com/#my-activities just simply not show Shot Analysis sessions, or why does it not appear there, but does on my phone?

Also, is there a way to download Trackman sessions from mytrackman.com and view them on my local (free) TPS installation on my laptop?

Thanks

Olle

I asked Trackman customet support and this was their response..

Trackman response:
-------------------------

On mytrackman.com, you are only going to see reports that have been sent to you either by yourself or from coaches from with TPS or iOS software. The sessions do not automatically upload here.

The consumer app is a little more advanced where it will show all sessions logged with your account within shot analysis and virtual golf (apart from games and on course practice).

Unfortunately, you cannot download sessions from mytrackman.com and import into TPS.

My response and follow-up question:
-------------------------

Ok, so since the session did appear in the Android App I suppose "Send to MyTrackman.com" must had been checked under Settings -> General -> Shot Statistics. Because that is a setting that automatically uploads to MyTrackman.com, right?

So, you're also saying that the Android app shows Shot Analysis sessions, but MyTrackman.com does, no matter what you do?

The problem I had with the Android app was that I tried copying the data from there. but there is no copy option available. Maybe that's intentional?

Would another option be to export the data to a file from the trackman station using a USB stick or something, and then I could import it and see all data in my local TPS instance, correct?

Trackman response:
-------------------------

The setting for "send to mytrackman.com" is the excel session data that will show up on the coaches account under "My Golfers".

Correct, MyTrackman will give the coach access to the "excel session data" for each student but the students account will only show reports that are sent. No excel session data.

Yes, there is no copy option in the consumer app.

If you are hitting shots in shot analysis under your profile and that PC is connected to the internet, they will show up in the consumer app. If a report of that data is sent to yourself, you would also see it in MyTrackman.com.

You would be able to export shots from one TPS to another TPS. Here are the steps to do that:

- Start a session in TPS and hit till you are completed
- Go to Analyze/Table view
- Click the Export icon (left hand side)
- Export as TrackMan Stroke File
- Save on the USB drive plugged into the PC
- Unplug the USB and plug into your own PC where TPS is installed
- Double click the saved stroke file and it will automatically import into TPS

Hi,

I have an issue where the games (Hit it!, Bulls Eye, etc) don’t show up in the Trackman app. I have no problem finding the sessions from Shot Analysis or course plays, but the games don’t appear. And I can’t see my attempts in the leaderbord either.

Have anyone else experienced the same, or found a solution to this?

I have the problem similar to above.

I go to public driving range which has Trackman on each bay.

I login, use practice range mode.

I can see all my data on it.

Then log off.

I can see the data on my trackman iphone app, but that does not give as much data.

I used to be able to see it also on Trackman.com on my PC. Which gave a lot more data until January this year.

Any new session since then does not show, but I can still see sessions up till January 22.

?

I dont know about your particular issue since I've never seen anything on trackman.com. But I emailed them just a few weeks ago and the app experience and trackman.com experience are supposed to be two different things. It seems to be a design decision they've made, that I think is not optimal. And you're not supposed to be able to export anything from the app in any way.
