Tour Jordan Spieth switches to newest Titleist Pro V1 x - 2021 AT&T Bryon Nelson

The Titleist golf ball rep told me Jordan has switched to the new Pro V1 x ball. First time he’s switched golf balls in 5 years

Seems like a weird time to be switching after the last month or so of being dialed in. I know it’s gotta be v similar, but Spieth just strikes me as a guy who would notice incredibly minute details and feels with his gear.

the new ball is good. But I still think the 15 ball is better off driver and spun better around the greens.

I'm not blaming him I just thought he was playing the 2019 model before.

Agreed! The 15 was the best ball for my money by some stretch, the 17 went backwards, the 19 was an improvement and then I am liking the 21 but not played it enough to be able to say one way or another as I am still working my way through my 19 stock.

Good info.  I wasn’t aware there was an incorrect way to punch the spacebar.

I just found it funny that a guy felt the need to tell the world that he traversed the creek banks searching for prov1s to throw into the ponds , presumably to save the world from the inferiority of that ball.  It’s a very comical scene if you think about it.  And I don’t even play a titleist ball.  I’m B stone all the way.

Though you seem to be pointlessly antagonizing, thanks for posting that link. Interesting to see that many cores off centre. I’m playing 2021 TP5X and am enjoying it a lot. Better feel than 2019.

Nah, not looking for a fight with these clowns that have nothing better to do then argue here.

 

The 2021 Prov1x ball is severely defected and that's why I posted originally, look up that account he did very extensive testing and sped a lot of time and money to properly uncover the massive flaws in the product. IMO these are bigger defects then in the Chromesoft a few years back.

 

Seems like Taylormade has done a proper job on the premium balls  this season, might try it this summer.
