This info was sent to me ages ago. Sounds like there will be more weights and more than just TX flex (there’s a White 60 Regular flex on eBay).

I’m currently loving the 1K in my driver. I’m quite fond of the Diamana TB in my driver too. It’s starting to feel like my wallet is going to be a little lighter….

Interesting and confusing. The second gen Diamanas didn't make a huge splash on tour so I guess that is why they felt they could reuse the name, but why? I think a lot of people had a bad taste in their mouth from the cheap "made for Titleist" Ahina's and Kai'li's that were around with the 910 wood release.

Yeah this was a terrible marketing decision IMO

 

And from that materials posted above looks like theyre going after the VELOCORE tech with the 'GEARS' stuff and dispersion.

Is this MCA's take on the Ventus shaft? Does the Ventus has a tapered butt section and low torque tip section?

Would love to grab a 60TX and 70TX for my setup in white. I feel like all the crazy hype and talk about Ventus completely covered up any talk about Mistu's shafts this past couple years when they had some awesome options, AV raw white being one of my all time favorites

Hmm.  Really liking the idea of a Kai'Li 70TX for my driver.  So, I know it's a hot topic at times.  In the original post MCA says it may be picked up by strategic OEM partners.  So, assuming that is short for it will maybe be a stock offering.  So, my brain is immediately assuming once it goes stock things will get confusing.  There will be a Japan made version and a stock version with corners cut in materials and manufacturing.  

 

Will just make sure I snag a TX to be safe haha.

gio, since you tried the shafts any idea of the balance points?  I remember The original kai’li, from 10ish years ago, had a pretty high balance point

I don't remember that about the shaft.  But, that was probably a time long before I understood or cared to learn about things like balance point.  I just remember loving the feel.  Had a nice crisp feel to it for being a mid/mid shaft.

yes. the white is very high..the blue is only slightly lower. they're both pretty high up. 

 

i believe the blue is higher up than it was in the tensei pro blue

I like the sound of that.  Pair it with a little more loft and hit towering bombs haha.  You hit the TX I assume?  Any tip trimming?  If not, would you play it straight in based on your results?

i tried it at 44.5"; tipped 1". 70TX. 

I would def play it straight in -- and at 45".

Appreciate it my dude.  Based on your feedback on previous offerings and the shaft in your signature, it seems I tend to gravitate towards some very similar stuff.  I just don't get the luxury of trying them first before pulling out the wallet haha.

The white proto sounds like what i have been searching for. Currently have av raw white proto 2.0 in the driver but it lacks feel.

Sounds a lot like the Project X Even Flow Riptide LX and MX Protos with the extremely low torque, stiff tip coupled with a tapered butt section to improve feel and ball speed.

To be fair...

 

...Mitsubishi has had attempts at 'impact stabilization' prior to your release of the velo tech in their Fubuki V and now the rebranded Fubuki V aka the Aldila Ascent. As seen here:

 

 

 

Fuji just happened to specifically market that velo-type tech and its aspects over the shaft model itself, whereas Mitsu took the opposite approach so no one card about the tech or caught onto it.

 

So, a pat on the back to the Fuji marketing team on the velocore introduction. Debatably velo tech is probably better than GEARS but I own neither type of shaft from either of you so I can't say.

GEARS is just a motion capture tech used for analyzing swing and performance. It's not shaft technology.
