Mitsubishi Kai'li White?

To be fair...

...Mitsubishi has had attempts at 'impact stabilization' prior to your release of the velo tech in their Fubuki V and now the rebranded Fubuki V aka the Aldila Ascent. As seen here:

564577394_ScreenShot2021-03-23at2_38_35P

816051106_ScreenShot2021-03-23at2_39_47P

Fuji just happened to specifically market that velo-type tech and its aspects over the shaft model itself, whereas Mitsu took the opposite approach so no one card about the tech or caught onto it.

So, a pat on the back to the Fuji marketing team on the velocore introduction. Debatably velo tech is probably better than GEARS but I own neither type of shaft from either of you so I can't say.

hah, love that GIF. nice. Certainly we're not claiming that "impact stability" has not been spoken about before.

Interesting and confusing. The second gen Diamanas didn't make a huge splash on tour so I guess that is why they felt they could reuse the name, but why? I think a lot of people had a bad taste in their mouth from the cheap "made for Titleist" Ahina's and Kai'li's that were around with the 910 wood release.

Idk the 75s shaft in my brothers 910 5w is really nice.  And he’s had that for almost 8-9 years at this point

Names aren’t what they used to be, I would argue. With the amount of really good shafts out there now, the name is becoming less important and the profiles and performance are where the focus is. There used to be a handful of really good high end shafts years back.

Funny thing is that is the "made for" version of the Kai'li. And don't get me wrong, the second Gen stuff was awesome. I loved the Kai'li and the Ahina, still have a Kai'li 80x in a Ping fairway. I'm just saying that they didn't get a lot of tour use, same as the 3rd Gen Diamanas.

Yeah but you got the aldila tour line at the time and the tour ad out there in the same time line. I’m not big on what was hot really following during that time period but I know what you mean

The graphics look terrible, especially compared to the Fujikura Speeder NX.

Speaking of graphics and all the Ventus comparisons.....The Kai'li graphics look like a messy version of the Ventus graphics. Clearly Mitsubishi had a target here. Not saying this will be a bad product at all, but which low launch shaft do you pick from Mitsubishi now? Kai'li White, Diamana PD, Tensei 1K Pro White, Tensei AV Raw White, Tensei CK Pro White, or Kuro Kage XD?

I wouldn’t go off the EI charts from OEMs. They tend to be a little elementary. They all have their place and will separate themselves by feel. We all load shafts differently so each shaft will feel different.

Kai'li Orange.....Please, actually ill settle for a Tensei 1K orange

I really hope they come out with a Kai'li Orange in the future, too. Low/Low with some counterbalancing for my heavy PING LST heads would be amazing!

sorry i'm dumb, it was the White version in the TXG video

There is no official information available on the blue yet (except the proto), so I doubt it will be released in early 2022.

Take the 5th generation Diamana for example, the TB was released like a year before the PD. Hopefully this isn't the case with the Kai'li's but I really hope to see the Kai'li range expand with a Blue, Red and Orange in the future.

It's very puzzling too how how the NX had the same results as the new Kai'li when they are two very different shafts

I think Matt can quickly adjust to most any shaft - pair that with them removing all his bad shots.

This shaft really looks interesting to me as I tend to do pretty well with blueboard feeling shafts, but am looking for the performance of a whiteboard. The real question is that why is the torque of the 60X so much higher than the 60TX (4.1 vs. 3.2 respectively). I was recently fit in a Ventus blue but haven't quite loved the added height, and rather enjoy the feel. Goldilocks syndrome. I'm thinking this shaft might be the winner once release.

Has anyone hit it yet besides the folks at TXG? 🙂 Would love to hear more feedback.

Seems like the D+ LTD remains one of their more popular low/low shafts on tour despite it's age.  Brooks, Lowry, Tiger to name a few off the top of my head.  Must be something to it.

Even more so given Morikawa played it in all 3 of his woods (he had the best season). And, dont think it was the Limited (LTD) version, just the D+ in TX flex.

Agreed & I Loved The 3rd Gen Models still have a W60 Driver Shaft & the B80 For a fairway which was one of the most accurate & long Fairway shaft I have ever hit.  The W also performed big time....but It was not quite the classic WB profile.

Yeah on paper the W-series 60g variant is basically a Blueboard and the 70g and up are virtually copies of the Motore Speeder, which is a shaft I actually REALLY like. Been meaning to get ahold of a W80X to try in a fairway.

The 80X is so good in a fairway for me. I've got one in a M2 DF 16.5* head. Nothing has been able to beat it so far.
