No matter what happens I hope the Tour returns to the Ocean Course more often in the future.

So a buddy texted me Thursday, saying we need to play this course.  We're Canucks so we will have about a 20% premium added to what I'm about to tell you, but for fun, I looked up what tee times go for.  September, August, July....  $463, which includes caddie, but doesn't include the recommended $100 tip.  We'll be looking elsewhere.

I can't imagine the resort giving up the course and that money for anything other than once a decade, just to keep the name in the public eye, to justify those greens fees.

All I'm saying is don't get your hopes up.  While I'm sure that not every round brings in that much(resort guest, etc), it would take some serious money to make it worth while.  You won't see a regular tour event, IMHO.

why does Nantz continue to harp on the fact that Louie could have been  the overnite leader had he made some putts....

I'm still amazed Nantz did not get fired last year after he was sort of supporting all the insanity going on in the US.  One thing is for sure, golf people are probably the last ones you want to start getting into social/political issues with on a broadcast next to NASCAR.  I was really shocked he survived TBH

I’m planning to play it next year in either April or May before the humidity gets in the 90% range 🥵

I find it humorously ironic that all the sandy areas at Kiawah, including those that are well manicured and would appear as bunkers to most, players are allowed to ground clubs and take practice swings that contact the sand.

Meanwhile Whistling Straits, another Dye design, marks all its sandy areas to be treated as bunkers, including those that spectators were standing in at the last PGA Champ contested there.

As long as the rule is consistent on a particular course, what difference does it make ?

What insanity was he supporting?
