Bachelor Party in Pinehurst in June

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the thousandth thread on Pinehurst.. but just have a couple questions specific to our group and any help would be greatly appreciated in order to do our bachelor right.

Bachelor Party with 16 golfers playing 4 rounds on the first weekend in June, but none on Pinehurst property.

Thursday - Mid Pines & Pine Needles

Friday - Tobacco Road

Saturday - Mid South

Friday or Saturday night -- Any hope of our non-Pinehurst resort group of 16 being able to play the Cradle in the afternoon or evening? I'm guessing not.. but if so, how would we go about trying to play, calling a week before? How about having dinner with our group of 16 at the Ryder Cup Lounge or other Pinehurst dining spots if we aren't staying on the property? Really our group just wants to go to Pinehurst and take it in without looking like total jabronis who aren't staying on the property lol.

Besides that.. any recommendations for our Bachelor Party group in terms of nightlife? I understand there might not be a ton of nightlife in the little town of Pinehurst but what would be the closest thing to nightlife? We're not a super crazy group but we certainly like to drink so any bars recommended? Is downtown Pinehurst where we need to be? And if so any restaurants you recommend that would fit a group of 16?

Thanks for any and all help!

Ryder cup lounge and any of the dining options on property are open to the public.

however for such a big group, you would almost certainly need a reservation for there to be any hope of them accommodating you. I would say call and try to talk to the manager and see what they can offer.

Pinehurst brewing co is probably the most likely option.

cradle for 16, I really doubt it, but I guess you can call the day before and ask.

As far as Pinehurst Resort options, the Carolina Dining Room or The 1895 Grille in the Holly would accommodate your group with a reservation. A non-resort (but in the Village of Pinehurst) option that I like is Theo's Taverna. Pre-dinner cocktail in the Ryder Cup Lounge, dinner at Theo's, then stroll down for a nightcap(s) at the Pinecrest Inn, Pinehurst Brewery, or the new North & South Bar in the renovated Manor.

Southern Pines also has some really great places that could handle your group - Chef Warrens, Ashten's, Southern Prime steakhouse, or Chapman's (more casual than the other three).

Word of warning, Pinehurst Brewing gets very full very fast so if you want to try and get 16 people in there you may need to hustle after golf. Between there, Dugans and PIne Crest is probably your best best for night life.

In my experience, the guys in the pro shop will do what they can to fit you on the Cradle but with 16, may be a tall order.

Good luck!

this.

you should be able to get on the cradle if you are flexible

honestly you are playing my favorite courses in the area.  You don’t need to be on pinehurst property to enjoy pinehurst.  Pinehurst is a bit of a zoo
