I just switched to these irons from Callaway MB. Noticed my iron lengths have decreased 5-10 yards per iron. MB had KBS C-taper lite. The P7 mc had the stock kbs 120 shafts. Anyone else has these issues with these irons?

I went the opposite way....was playing P750 with C-Taper and am now in P7MC with C-Taper and am consistently 5 yards longer but that may be to do with them being 1/2 inch longer

100% the length. No way the head did that unless your lofts are a bit stronger due to tolerances.

It’s likely due to spin. The Callaway MB 18 (I presume?) are actually exceptionally long for a blade. Slightly lower but consistent spin. Very good ball speeds. Lots of bounce. I used the P7MC for a short spell last year. Great clubs. Feel brilliant. Long irons are pretty demanding. Anecdotally I actually find the MB ‘18 more forgiving.  But the the P7MC spun like tops for me. A LOT. I always had to knock them down because going after it they would just spin up. Again, great feel, lovely all around iron, but short due to spin.

So i experienced the exact same thing in my testing. 7MC's felt amazing and I love the look but I was a full club shorter with them vs basically everything I hit. 921 Tours, zx7, T100, MP 20 MMC and so on. I believe their lofts are a degree weaker vs everything else as well but that should amount to 10yds. It did for me though. And all had x100's in them.

I'm not a fan of the stock KBS shafts in the 7 series this year.  I briefly had them in my 770s last year before yanking them out.  

 

I have my MCs bent 1* strong and I'm getting the distances I like.

interesting to see.  i have a high spin rate on my irons.  I am trying out the Titleist 620MB and they are good.  Still my spin is too high.  lowest spin rate was with P790 but cant adjust to how it sets up and feels on impact.  Always been a muscleback player.  I might switch out the shaft on the 620mb to nippon 120x (soft stepped) or 105x to decrease the spin.

I switched to a combo set of p770 and p7mc.  I purchased the irons because I wanted the p770 long irons but the p7mc short irons been the real highlight.

 

All the talk about them being short, hard to hit, etc.  It just has not been my experience.  Granted, you have to make a good swing.  But they are totally reasonable in terms of forgiveness.  They also have excellent distance and, crucially, distance control. It's like the control of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity.

 

My primary comparison is against t100 irons with the same shaft and specs.  The p7mc gives me the yardage and control I need time after time.  Really pleasantly surprised.
