The course I played this morning decided to still offer the Buy 1, Get 1 deal on the Zstars. So, some green grass accounts may have the flexibility to still offer that deal.

I definitely picked up 2 boxes of XVs. Can't beat that deal.

Picked up 3 dozen XVs yesterday on this deal at my local Edwin Watts, they said I was the first person to do so, they had to figure out how to ring it up.

I can easily afford new golf balls but I am not going that route.  I purchase Pro-V1 balls that were hit one time and lost on the golf course at corporate events.  There is a guy who come out after the events and collect them, on the same day.  I guess you can say these balls are "brand new" minus a one time hit.  I got them for less than $1 per ball.  These balls have corporate logos on them but they are still Pro-V1.  I wouldn't blink an eye each time I lose a Pro-v1 ball.

It's always a dilemma for brands who want to drum up some interest or market share by offering really attractive introductory or limited time pricing. There's a danger that even a quite good pricing later will be seen as "too much" by customers who expected to keep getting the product ultra-cheaply.

From August 18, 2021 I will be away from GolfWRX for a while.

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
