the competition is entertaining, but I at the moment I like Bryson more. Hes doing things his way, generating added interest in the sport, and made himself into a major winner. Koepka is cool too, and gotta respect his performance in majors. but i dont think hes the most versatile player, and when its all said and I done I think Bryson will have had the better career

BAD = quirky oddball possibly Asperger's, interminable at times on the course. No real off-course persona.

 

Koepka = low IQ meathead, but doesn't slow up pace of play. Comes across as entitled spoiled child off course. 

 

Tough to pick a "winner" but seems DeChambeau is less of an a-hole. 🤷‍♂️

This is really close to my view of them both. As far as BK, he definitely comes off as a spoiled child. He really has no sense of tact. Right off hand I know 2 men who have zero tact and just say what comes to their mind and seem to have no regrets about what the  target thinks. They think they are always in the right. BK actually takes it to another level and I think he will lose the friends he might have on the Tour, if he has any,  if he continues to act this way. I have never even heard who he plays practice rounds with. One thing for sure, he has done things his way in golf. Starting out on the European  tour and transitioning to the PGA might have made him think he had something to prove. That he belongs there. Just going about it the wrong way.

Only chummies? Nonono. Golf need their Montys, Sergios, Reeds, Hattons. You cannot make a soup without som spice.  And the trend is, because of social media, the spicy characters gets gagged. I think Bryson and Brooks adds a lot, two americans that do not behave like media trained robots. 
 

European tour back in the days before social media, Monty days, there you really got adrenalin on the course.

He definitely said something to him as he passed by.  It was not the spikes on the path.  I've never understood why people don't like Brooks. Besides, some of the ridiculous photos of his wife, what it is about him?  I've never understood the animosity over Brooks.  Enlighten me.

You wanted to be enlighten, so here's my take. He was rolling his eyes before the interview started.  Maybe Bryson is trolling him (and winning at it) but just ignore it. Is he really that mentally weak?

There's a big difference between being a straight shooter (which I respect) and disparaging others to inflate his own ego.

It's the "get off my lawn" crowd that prefers their golfers be as vanilla as possible.  Golf is still an upper middle-class, predominantly white, sport where the fans prefer their athletes to court as little controversy as possible.  They want everyone to conform.

He’s that spoiled  bully everyone knew in school.  He’d threaten half the bus for their lunch money , then when he got home yell to his mom “ mooooomm I want a hot pocket .... my tummy is empty ....”. All the while his plump a** could easily turn on the microwave himself.  Reminds me of cartman from South Park.
