This happens all the time at tournaments. Look at past tournaments and you'll see other players walking by or even walking up from behind to offer a quick congratulations. It's not unusual to see players walk behind an interview after a round.

You may be right. Look at Bruce's expressions and eye rolling before the interview starts. Either it was planned or BDC was trolling him. Either way it could help either one's social media hits and $$$'s. Pga tour should be careful what they wished for lest this will become another social media clown show.

He sure did.  I believe Bryson mentioned awhile back that he lost 20 pounds.  His weight gain was getting out of control, IMO.  He probably realized this at some point.  As for this incident, you're gonna have guys like Bryson and Brooks are controversial by nature say some interesting things at times.  Face it, all pro athletes will have egos to varying degrees.  Arrogant, self serving, on the verge of being disrespectful at times.  Not everyone on tour is gonna be like Rory and carry themselves with class so to speak.  I'm a huge fan of Brooks and Bryson and I certainly don't mind a bit of controversial characters in the game.  Makes for interesting topics of discussion.

What's asinine is the knee jerk reaction, based on what I'm guessing was .5 seconds of thought.  Significant others often influence people's behavior, for better or worse.  Happens all the time. 

 

I made no comparison of the magnitude or specifics of Koepka and Kaepernick's respective situations, only that they seem to be absorbing the behaviors/interests of their significant others.  There's obviously the possibility that they gravitated toward someone similar to themselves, but it's not outrageous to think they, like men and women since the dawn of time, adapted to and/or adopted characteristics of their significant others.

I’m here for the Bryson hate. Not because I hate Bryson (love him) but because it’s entertaining to listen to all the cringe and jealous grown a** men in here get ruffled by his personality. By the way, if you ever listen to Bryson talk about the game, the dude absolutely loves golf and is a student of the game. If anything he’s got a child like curiosity about how he can be better. You’d think more people here would appreciate that.

Brooks is a punk plain and simple. Once he started winning majors ( and Kudos to him for his accomplishments ) he thought he was the PGA Tour police. I bet if it was Tiger walking behind him with the spikes clattering he wouldn't have said one thing.

It looks that way. When you can’t put in the time in the gym and maintain your calories you can drop pretty darn fast. 
 

I went from 195 to 175 in less than 6 months when I went from college to a desk job. My friend who played in the NFL went from 235 to 180 when he left. 

Each tournament cuts into the time Bryson needs to maintain.
