Staying in Oceanside, CA

Staying in Oceanside June 1-4. I got a TPI fitting on the 3rd but want to play the day before. Any suggestions for the Oceanside/Carlsbad area? Not looking for anything super nice but I don't  wanna play somewhere thats in bad shape. Would spend 50-100 bucks haha I know thats a broad range.

Goat hill is going to be a recommendation you will get as its 5 minutes down oceanside blvd from TPI. Fair warning, i have only ever seen people absolutely love it or hate it. It is a very laid back new age golf vibe that isnt for everyone.

 

Arrowood and the crossings should fit the bill for what you are looking for.

 

I can give plenty of food or any other recs depending where you are staying. i work in carlsbad near palomar airport and lived a few blocks from oceanside pier for a few years

 San Clemente Municipal to the north fits the budget & has a fun back nine; not sure about its present condition.

When I lived in San Diego Arrowood was always in great shape at that price point

Arrowood is a nice track.  La Costa is also quite nice.  Encinitas Ranch if you can get on gives you some great views.

Crossings at Carlsbad is another nice one.

 

I'd skip Goat Hill.

I have played Arrowood a great deal, it's a fun, testy course.  Normally it's kept in good condition, and especially challenging on the back when the ocean breeze comes up.  Bring a low piercing ball. 😛  I agree with others, Crossing is nice track as well.

Yeah Goat Hill is the best near oceanside for that price range
