It’s obvious the event needs to be a maximum of nine holes. Playing 18 holes is a ratings disaster for this type of event. They need to add a third team as well. Michael Jordan needs to be part of the next one or it is completely DOA. The last hour and a half sealed its fate.

18 would probably be ok at a different course and no looking for the ball for an extended amount of time.

9 holes would probably work with 3 teams. 

I think the problem with this match is Bryson and Aaron just aren't as trash talkative or talkative at all although Bryson did seem to talk a little more here towards the end.

The first match everybody was talking trash and Phil and Tiger both were giving tidbits which made it more interesting

Phil tried to get Bryson to open up earlier but that kind of ran out of steam quickly. He just isn't built for events like these.

Triple.. I've been on here for 13+ years. We've had great convos throughout. At no point did I suggest it was a cash grab for anyone. 

 

I did suggest, however, that like EVERY OTHER sporting event, it's a commercial s*** show. 

 

Perhaps others feel different. All good. To me tho, it makes almost everything on tv unwatchable. I have hit the half century mark though. 😄

Wow Aaron Rogers can roll the rock.  Plus he has 180mph ball speeds. 

Tom Brady is a big big dude.  Makes Phil who is also a big guy look small.  

This was an awesome match and was fun to watch.  Rogers was really impressive.

I thought it was awesome. The players beat the showmen, as it should be. All is right in the world today.

I really enjoyed this-  Good fun.

 

My takeaway was:

 

1.  Bryson tried to be the long-ball hero, and failed.

 

2.  Phil talks a lot, some of it good, some tedious. 

 

3.  Both quarterbacks have game.  Kudos to them for playing in a nerve-wracking situation.  

 

4.  I'd love to play that course, if only for the scenery and environment.  I don't care what I shoot on that course, if only for the pleasure of playing it.   (not really, I do).   I'd love to tee-off that high above the green for a change-

 

Granted, I live in central Illinois.   Our greatest course elevation change is if a squirrel happens to bury a nut on the fairway..... 

 

It was the most entertaining Tuesday evening live golf event I've seen in a long time. 

 

And that's what it was.  An amusing Tuesday evening Live golf event.   

Good for the game.
