Scotty Cameron Newport 1998/130

The other day one of my friends showed me a Scotty Newport 1998/130, 1998 Gold Custom Fitting Convention putter, GIP and head cover which I've never seen before.

I've also never seen Cameron on both sides of the neck

It's a beautiful putter!

Does anyone have an information on this putter?

Limited release only 130 made for VIPs not much on it really. Fantastic condition.

As stated on the putters face, 130 were made in 1998 of which 100 were given out to the top Titleist Gold accounts (for sales in that year) and 30 given out to VIPs to the business.

Just saw one of these on FB Marketplace.  It's a little banged up and the person is still asking $2K.  I think that's high but we'll see.
