I have a buddy that just got a new SM.  Seems apparent that they are a quality product at least from a milling/fit/finish perspective.

I have used milled putters and those with inserts and the looks & feel of a Seemore stands up to them all. The fitting and RST system is what separated them from the rest.

Feel free to contact John anytime to help with any questions.  Send him a short video or text.  Happy to help.  Keep up the solid work.

Thanks,  I talked with John a little after I got the putter and he was very helpful.   Was working on my stroke a little today doing some gate drills and rolling balls down a ruler.   I'll try and get some video of the stroke and send it in for a quick look.   Probably need to get a mirror to work on setup.

Here's a very mini update: After using my SeeMore Platinum FGP for four or five rounds, I decided to use one of my regular gamer putters yesterday. Not because of any issues with the SeeMore, but because I wanted a point of comparison to properly evaluate the SeeMore.

Until yesterday, I did not fully appreciate how comfortable the RST system makes putting. I've only been using the SeeMore putter for a handful of rounds, but I've already gotten used to the "security blanket" feeling of lining up my putter head with the face and the top alignment line, making sure that the red dot is hidden, taking one last look at the hole, and making my stroke. It's a little setup pre-shot routine that is reliable and reassuring. With my traditional putter, I actually felt a bit lost on the greens.

Needless to say, I'm sticking with the SeeMore for now.

Oh man... I've waxed eloquent about SeeMore elsewhere, but glad to see others are getting some time in with them... I got fit back in January, and still absolutely love mine. I got fit by Cody, and it's an exceptional experience.

I'm coming back to golf after a long layoff due to injury... before putting was my weakness, and now it's the one thing keeping my game afloat!

sent some videos to John last night to see if we can tighten some things up,.  Was disappointed to see that the right hand mirror is out of stock;  think I need a mirror to work on setup; especially shoulder line.

A quick update now that I have a few rounds in with my MX5 mallet. As mentioned above the RST is a great pre putt security blanket. I find my setup is more consistent putt to putt just checking the red dot. It’s helped me keep my weight distribution more consistent in my setup. Now the putter….my distance control has been incredible with this putter. The ball comes off the putter so consistently. It gets rolling very quick but one thing I love is I don’t seem to get “hot” putts as I have with other mallets. It really frees me up to be aggressive because the roll is so predictable. I’ve putted great my past few rounds, been very solid on the short ones and made a few 20-30 footers. I can’t stress enough to get a putter that fits you, not the other way around. Comfort is everything and the RST works great if the putter sits flush. My putter is a perfect fit and it makes a huge difference. Cheers for now 🍻

We have talked a lot about the putters within this thread.   There is no question that the putters are high quality and that they provide lots of options to help you find the putter that works best for you.

The other aspect of this review is SPi.  Seemore has the SeeMore Putter Institute which is setup to help you become the best putter you can be.   Aside from the initial conversations we had with SeeMore to select the putter,  I have reached out to John a couple of times to talk about what I was seeing with the putter and have even sent some videos to see if we can improve my stroke and ultimately my mid range putting.   Each time I have reached out John quickly got back with me and spent time answering my questions.   During today's phone call we bounced some ideas back and forth regarding what he was seeing in my stroke.  I never felt that I was being rushed through the call and that John would have spent as much time as necessary to answer all my questions.   You may think that this service is tied to this review.  I can assure you that if you have ever read a SeeMore thread on this or any golf forum the SeeMore team is an active participant and constantly urging people to reach out to their team.  This company definitely stands behind their product.   As was mentioned earlier in this post by the SeeMore team,  not only are you getting a putter;  you are getting a coach that will help you improve your putting.

For those who haven't found the site,  SeeMore has a site dedicated to putting instruction and putting information (https://puttingu.com).   While the videos are older, they cover some key fundamentals that could help you putt better even it you don't use a SeeMore.

I want to echo the above about the SPi fitting. My specs are dead on what John fit me into. I feel extremely comfortable over the ball, and know that all I have to do is sole my putter and step up to it. The length and lie are dead on. Obviously that'll have performance benefits, and the peace of mind is worth the price of admission.

Another excellent round with the SeeMore in the bag today. I honestly couldn't be happier with this putter.

Still loving my SeeMore. Had back to back rounds where I had 26 and 27 putts. I think the RST is kind of subconscious at this point. I don’t focus on it like I did because my brain just recognizes when I’m properly set up.

I have been working to incorporate the changes suggested by John into my stroke and while the carnage’s are small change takes time.   Yesterday was my first opportunity to bring those changes to the course.  Played 9 in my companies golf league and ended up with 14 putts with 5 hit greens on some undulating quick greens.  Ended up with a few putts in the 5-12 foot range; which is the range that I am working on improving, and the stroke was solid and putts were tracking on my intended line.  Scheduled to play 36 this weekend so we will see if the trend continues

Got a custom Z1c with a teal shaft awhile back. Always putt lights out with that thing. The curious thing is you would think my direction would show the most improvement, but I always lag up to under a foot with it. Which is fantastic confidence on my course’s lightening fast greens. Was hoping to be a winner as it’s getting a little beat up lol, but it’s still got some time left. Glad to see others loving these things. I bought mine on a whim and can’t believe how much it has helped me!

I don't mean to keep bumping this thread with braggadocios updates, but here's another positive result: I broke 80 for the second time in my life today, and I give a ton of credit to my SeeMore. My approach game was pretty lackluster and I kept leaving myself with difficult long putts - I'm happy to report that despite the difficult putting conditions that I left myself, I didn't have a single three-putt.

It's the consistency in setup that's been huge for my game. My putts are starting are going the speed and direction that I want them to, so all I have to do is read the putt. The confidence that a consistent setup gives me can't be understated.

I've also been doing a lot of practice with hiding the red dot through my whole swing. When I first got the SeeMore, I could easily hide the dot through my backswing, but on the forward swing the dot would come out in a way that looked like I was closing my face too much. To make a long story short, through some tinkering it became apparent that what I was missing was the release of the putter head. I was swinging the putter head across the putter (so releasing "left" if you will), but not releasing UP at and after the ball. So if I think of my putter head as exiting up and out on my follow through, the red dot stays hidden. That has translated to excellent, crisp contact.

If you've ever struggled with understanding the release of the putter head, give a SeeMore a shot and try to hide the red dot through your whole stroke. It's been a very interesting revelation.

Loving this thread.  I’ve used seemore’s predominantly since 2008, but I’ve never been fit for one.  During that time I’ve strayed away a time or two but always come back.  Fast forward to 2019 and a wrist/elbow injury forced me to hang it up… I’m back playing now and just cannot get comfortable with any putter… have been through a Scotty, a 2 ball Ten, an Evnroll and even 2 of my Seemore’s.   After another poor putting round Thursday I decided enough was enough and booked a fitting at Seemore’s headquarters in Franklin while I’m there for meetings later this month.  I cannot wait to get there, go through their fitting process and end my revolving door of putters.

Was able to get 36 holes of golf in this past weekend.    Overall, I have no complaints about the putter. It is definitely a high quality putter that equals any other putter on the market  and RST is a solid technology that helps a golfer establish a consistent setup.  At this  point,  I am working through technique/green reading.  SeeMore has been very and provided feedback on my stroke.  At this point,   I just need to practice and get better.  I have used the triangulator and my aim is good.   I do well with distance control.   My problem seems to be face control with shorter length strokes which causes me to have a mix of open and closed faces at impact.  While the putter is face balanced at impact, i must be doing something in my stroke with these shorter length putts.   My goal was to improve my 5-12 foot range of putts which means I need to figure out what I am doing.   Going to reach out to John and see what the coaches at SeeMore recommend.

  • 3 weeks later...

KP here. New to the post. Purchased my first See More si5 Mallet, center shaft putter about two months ago. I am 68 and currently a 2 index. I have shot my age since age 65. Like everyone, I have owned a variety of putters since starting to golf at age 10. In the last 20 years it has been Odyssey or Scotty. I was told at golf shops that with my stroke, a center shaft putter was not good for me, yet it always seemed to set up best. I pulled the trigger on a 34" when my fit should be 33.5?? I installed an extended length super stroke grip so I can adjust my hands up and down to adjust from flat to sloped surfaces. The See more system just makes sense. There is no shaft lean and the stroke starts square and returns to square at impact. The second big help was watching Louie Ousthasen at the open and since. He slides his hands up and down the shaft, I assume to get the right height with his hands on the grip so you aren't lifting the club up at take away. He also seems to sit into his stance rather than try to get up more over the top of it. His eyes are still over the ball but his posture at address is adjusted a bit different than most, at least it appears to be. I tried this as it also seemed to make sense for me as most of my misses were always left. The combination of the new putter and this new set up has me making more putts. Like a gentleman in a comment above, I am excited to go to play golf because I believe I can make putts. I was in a pattern of hitting 14 GIR, hitting several shots within 10 ft and walking away with 75 or 76. Since the changes there have been some rounds with other issues but I have been sub par or even more often lately. I credit the See more to my confidence and success.

As a teaching professional, I have the choice of recommending any putter But as an SPI instructor I obviously prefer SeeMore. I say this because I began using a SeeMoore putter after Payne Stewart’s US Open win at PineHurst. Every customer I have fitted complements not only the fitting but the results that each putter provides. There is this wonderful tendency to strike the center of the club face once the alignment is achieved. I am a lifelong supporter of SeeMore, they are wonderful putters and the people are even better. Thank you very much.
