I have a feeling that Hadley is going to implode, even with a four shot lead.

I had the tv on yesterday and watched some of the third round.  Someone needs to teach (remind) Mr. Lee how to legally drop the ball.

He has the height correct at knee level, but rather than droping it, he snaps his wrist to throw it down.  He was dropping on a side hill next to a water hazard. Throwing the ball down insured that it would bounce down the slope into the hazard at which point he then gets to place the ball.  The drop was not legal, did he knowing make the illegal drop or does he not know the rules?

I’m not sure it states what the velocity of drop is to be.  I agree it looked odd or off. But I’m not sure it’s illegal.

that's why i prefer the over-the-shoulder drop ... or some kind of 'blind' attempt that produces the most randomness ...

Watching DJ and Hadley play yesterday, I had not realized Chesson was taller than DJ.  He made  DJ look like Cartman.

just hope that I don't see another guy trying to hold on to a four shot lead by playing prevent defense. I'm not a fan of that strategy.

Lots of guys putting off the green this week but I've seen a lot of them come up short today.  DJ can't afford a bogey at 14.

Read some disparaging remarks about the course in this thread.  I think it is likely much better in person than on the 2 dimensional tv.  Would love to play this course.  The courses of NC and SC have so much variety and value.

Higgo hasn't gotten a lot of play today but might look to be the winner of the tournament by virtue of being consistent down the stretch.

Consistently solid while others have leaked oil. His wins in Europe were impressive in that he never looked flustered.
