Golf Channel is beating this fake feud to death. is it good for the game? is it bad for the game? What did they expect when the Tour threw up $40M for likes on the Internet.

Really? I don't notice anything about her that is shrill or annoying.

 

Sure, it's not the smooth sophistication of Cara Banks, but to be honest that's just the accent 😉

She's on Live From right now. "Shrill" might not be totally accurate though I do find her voice to be that way. But perhaps "metallic", "hard-edged", "rapid-fire" and "non-harmonic" might be better adjectives. She badly needs a voice coach to teach her how to be a broadcaster. I cannot bear listening to her.

 

The other day I heard an old 1960s Vin Scully broadcast of a L.A. Dodgers game. That is harmonic speaking. So smooth and easy to listen to.

Now, I dislike listening to MacKenzie as much as the next guy, but you have either made a very unfair comparison using maybe the greatest of all time, or you have insulted him by using his name in the a post talking about her.

There is no better example of harmonic speaking than Vin in his prime.  NBC should make Paige listen to his old broadcasts 8 hours a day.
