Not a word.  Pretty disappointing.  They can provide info on Maxfli balls and best golf shoe laces but can't seem to find time to provide important and timely info.

This is funny to me!  Important and timely info to you can be useless to others. Perhaps if you let them know you would finance the extra time and help needed for an extensive time consuming test like the cog report, they would drop what they are doing to accommodate you! Although negative comments on a different forum is probably the 2021 thing to do!

Sorry, knew when I sent that it would not be taken well, poor attempt at humor.  Just seems that they tend to look at insignificant things vs the COG/MOI report.  From what I see in various forums, this report is well thought of and valued by many in the golf community.

Agree.  It's the only reason I used to go to their website.

Did they do it for putters? I would be interested in that info.

Has anyone asked the other forum people if any there will be any CG/MOI updates?

The only real word I see on it is from a thread last year basically saying "Tony does all the testing and he is focused on the ball lab" combined with various "COVID changed everything so don't expect a report this year". I have no idea where that stands now, but @03trdblack and @storm319 were active on that thread, so maybe they have seen other things on their forums.

I'll be honest, I'm pretty sure the COG chart is dead. MGS is committed to testing every golf ball on the planet (and to be fair the Maxfli balls are REALLY good and underrated) and don't seem to be coming back to the more detailed club testing anytime soon. I'm really disappointed as I feel like it's one of the more valuable pieces of data out there when it comes to equipment and no one else was providing it.

After all, they have ball retrievers and tees to test...valuable info to make time for. 🙄

Yeah that was the vibe I got as well, especially since apparently it was down to one guy (Tony) whether or not it happens. That single point of failure means any number of things could derail it, even just down to "eh, I don't feel like it anymore". I wouldn't be surprised though if a similar situation happened here as with Wishon and his shaft software. Maybe they were receiving clubs from manufacturers until such time as those companies started to take issue with the data people were taking away from these tests. It's a helluva lot easier to sell your new "MAX" driver as a forgiveness monster without actual MOI and CG measurements being released revealing that it is nothing special in either category. Just speculation of course, but if he had to start paying for drivers out of pocket then you're gonna start crunching numbers. The CG Reports look like they always had good engagement in terms of comments, but the Ball Lab and Tee Height articles seem to get as much if not MORE and for what I imagine is a fraction of the cost and effort.
