In search of a bit more distance (driver videos attached)

Greetings all, I haven't had any chance to get on a launch monitor or swing speed radar so I don't know my SS.  I would say my drives are 265ish (real world, not GolfWRX inflated numbers).  On downwind holes I can get out 300.  I have been playing 10 year old drivers until recently when I impulse bought a TEE C721 with an X-stiff shaft in hopes of gaining some new-tech distance and better dispersion (without getting fit).  I didn't gain any magic new tech distance but I can go harder with this shaft without losing it left so that's nice.  Preferred shot is a controlled cut with driver.

 

Filmed in slo-mo with my Pixel phone.  Don't mind the noises.  Tropical birds sound odd in slo-mo.  First shot was a push cut (ended in right rough), face-on swing was a straight draw that rode the wind and ended up in left rough.

 

I've gotten a lot better about keeping my wrists and hands soft.  I'm trying to allow just a little more wrist c0ck than I'm used to (i have a less than parallel backswing naturally) in hopes of getting more coil/whip.  I'm not trying to create lag because I know that can be a killer, but I just don't see the amount of lag/whip that I know will lead to higher SS.  Thoughts?

Many things. Your just swinging your arms not using your body. This is causing you to not load up on your right side for a powerfull strike of the ball.

I'm new to golf and I will probably never hit the ball as far as you are hitting it now but I dont see a hip turn in your back swing.

Thanks.  I have a few thoughts.  I've gone back to basics and realized some flaws with my grip which prevent me from loading up the club.  Correcting that is going to take some time to get used to, so I plan on working on my range of motion and flexibility and impact bag drills to really feel the correct sequencing.
