I will say the fact that every hole is basically straight with fairway bunkers between 270-320 And the serious lack of trees now makes it fairly non descriptive. 
 

That said I will be watching Sunday

I guess it all depends on ones perspective. Myself, I was pulling for Rocco.

 

Then again, I normally go for the underdog. I don't care for media darlings.

Yes !   That’s it.  I’m not versed in the camera man game , but Seems like the par 3s from behind the tee and the par 5 second shots are ok-ish.  But the par 4s I cannot see a dang thing.

Tiger is the great equalizer.  Cant really compare that to this. My only other memory of Torrey besides the 08 open is JB Holmes taking 2 hours to hit a second shot on 18.

I think the Masters nails it year in and year out with the way the event is covered. Yes only getting 4 hours for the broadcast each day is irritating, but the app more then makes up for it.  The other 3 majors can learn a lot from AGNC

Final group off at 135 pacific/435 eastern tomorrow.  Thats around 80-100 minutes earlier than normal, even for events on the west coast.  NBC calling the shots there with hockey and olympic trials at 8 and 9pm

All the pros must of been visiting the biggie golf manufacturers  (Taylormade, Titleist, Callway, etc) during the week prior and days before tournament because they are just short drive from Torrey. Must of been cool to visit with all the pros there and must of been super busy.  All the biggies have full range facilities, testing facilities, and club building facilities.
