PXG 0311 Forged wedges?

I'm just looking for some feed back on these wedges. What you like or dislike about them? How do they compare to your old gamers?

They appear to have the same face as PXG irons.  I sold mine and picked up some wedges with a milled face, and now I can get my wedge shots to bite once in a while.

They are a solid forging.  I'm not sure what the comment above about the "same face" means, but they are not hollow, multi-piece designs like their irons.  

 

I had the first gen forged wedges and they performed like any other wedge with identical spin/launch conditions.  My only complaint is that they have 1 bounce/grind option per loft in their standard wedge line.  So they may or may not be optimal for an individual based on how they use a wedge.  They have some options in their milled line, but at roughly 2x the price.  Like the rest of their clubs, they perform as well as any quality wedge, but they aren't worth the exorbitant cost in my opinion.  They clubs that they have marked down to normal, or below normal cost for a given club/design, are well worth at least trying.

Thanks, that's what i was thinking. The Sugar Daddy's  are amazing, but not for the price.

Been loving my 54 and 60 Forged wedges. The 60 is actually really good out of the sand. Loving both of them. Feel great and lots of spin.

You playing the original 0311 wedge or the current 0311 wedge?  I have both in 54*/58*, and get along better with the original.  The originals are a good bit higher bounce than the current ones, and the originals work better for me out on the course.

Very soft high spinning wedges feel way better than a vokey or any cast wedge they are very good

I got mine out yesterday and was very impressed. The 58* is great for all kinds of shots. I think its the easiest wedge coming in low with lots of spin.

My iron set used was 340...wedge 395..no

Hit them a few times during fittings and they feel crazy good. Not $395 good. If money is not object, then I would go Sugar Daddy all the way.

I agree. If I was one of those guys that buys wedges every 2 -3 years I’d be all over them. Unfortunately I buy wedges at least once a year.

I am a once a year guy with fresh wedges and for the last 7-8 years have depended on the Mizuno S/T offerings.  The 0311 Forged 56/10 and 60/10 have a touch more bounce than my T20's but are pretty dam similar to the yardages and ball spin reactions.  I think they are really nice wedges that I am happy to bag the rest of 21-22...or until the new Mizuno offerings are released.  Wish PXG offered a raw finish...really like the way the T20 raws look after lots of play
