Sweat-resistant sunscreen with a decent smell?

My girlfriend hates the smell of the Coppertone Spot sunscreen I've been using for ages. 

I hate the smell of the Coppertone Spot sunscreen I've been using for ages. I've never really thought much of it up until now, but I'll admit it does have a strong chemical odor to it. I usually just buy whatever 3-pack happens to be available at Costco - Whether it's Coppertone or Banana Boat. 

Are there any good sweat-proof sunscreens out there that don't make you smell like a brand new sheet of PVC plastic?

I’ve always had good results with Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch in SPF 30 and SPF 15.

Being fair skinned I've tried them all......hard to beat Sunbum, not cheap but it sprays on great and smells good.

I doubt you're going to find a spray-on sunscreen that doesn't stink. I've certainly never seen one.

 

Coppertone Water Babies (or any of the house brand knockoffs with the same formulation, Target, CVS, Wlagreens, etc.) is fragrance free, no solvents (unlike sprays), high SPF and very resistant to sweating off or rubbing off. I have pretty sensitive sense of smell (and allergies) and can detect no scent to it at all. It also has a lot of "mineral" sun blocking material with relatively little of the potent chemical oxidizers and such.

Not to thread jack but any of these that don't leave your hands super greasy?  I am not a huge fan of anything on my hands in general, like lotions and things like that.  But, greasy hands on the golf course chaps my a** more than anything.  

 

I use the aerosol spray but unless you rub it in, I feel like you don't get great coverage.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

i got walgreens brand of the spray kind...stuff smells wonderful, people i play with always go 'what smells so good' lol.  Now i got it about a year or two ago (it lasts me a while as Im not super crazy about putting a ton on) so they could have changed the scent.

 

Cheaper obviously too than name brand stuff.

Any brand that is targeted towards babies and kids won't smell like s*** yet also be somewhat sweat resistant.  Also, try to avoid sunscreen with benzene.  Very toxic and carcinogenic chemical.

blue lizard is the best I've ever used, bonus if you've got a dermatologist, you can get a prescription written for it to cut back on the cost

I have found the Elta MD sunscreen to be by far the best. It doesn't smell, and isn't greasy.  It goes on so light that it doesn't even feel like you have any sunscreen on. It is on the expensive side but well worth every penny.  I usually buy mine from the Dermstore and they are always giving a 15% off coupon/sale.  I specifically use the Sport Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 and love it. Its good for face and body.
