NOBULL golf shoes coming later this year

I went to check on the tracking for a pair of Nobull trainers I ordered recently and saw an email advertising a new line of golf shoes.  Nobull is a slightly niche shoe company targeting the Crossfit crowd and they're the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had, so I'll be interested in their golf shoes when they come out.

I see that they have signed up Scott Stallings which I guess gives them a bit of a crossover seen as he seems to be better at CrossFit than he is at Golf these days but in what is already a market drowning in options, I am not sure how much of a foothold (no pun intended) any new entrants to the market can get.

I wish they would have made them in the runners. I wear my runners playing golf a lot. They would be perfect with just a tiny bit more of an aggressive tread.

Good find. Could be on the expensive side. Their trail runners are spendy compared to competitive options.

Not a fan of Nobull's customer service and their shoe products in the CrossFit world aren't really a step up in terms of quality from other mainstream brands like Nike or Reebok. Nobull's marketing machine just happens to be really freaking good. 

 

If they happen to surprise me, then I'll definitely put them into play. Having tried them as part of my CrossFit box last year, I found other brands to be better so not holding my breath for Gen1.

The first pair of Nobull trainers that I ordered was a half size too big and I didn't have any problems exchanging them for a smaller size, so my experience with the customer service is good.  Having used a few different pairs of Reebok Nanos I much prefer the Nobulls, they are much lighter than the Nano 9s I bought at the same time for one example, and the arch support just fits my foot perfectly.  The Nobulls became my everyday sneaker.

 

Agreed that the market is pretty full for the casual spikeless shoe, and these will likely be on the expensive side.

These will likely be $130 at a minimum, and may hit their $160 + category.  There's a ton of quality golf shoes in that price point.

 

Shoes are personal, though.  For me, my pair of trainers ran so hot they were relegated to casual dog walking / coffee-run shoes.  Feet just could not "breathe."  Back to Metcons it was and for golf I'll be sticking with the FJ / Nike / Ecco rotation.

$179 is bloody spendy though... They look great and fit the bill for me as a comfy shoe with some grip

 

seems to be basically their trail running shoe we redesigned lugs. Not sure I'm willing to give them a go at that price point though

I’m def no CrossFit guy and would likely have a CrossFit guru ashamed I would wear them (as I sure could use some CrossFit).  That said $179 for water resistant shoes? Not even waterproof?   I like em…..

Those look like any number of white, tennis-shoe-looking, golf shoes already on the market save for the logo/lettering on the side.

My curiosity got the best of me. I ordered these and they are very comfortable. These are excellent for the summer months in TX when the fairways are firmer. I walk during my early morning rounds and these shoes were really comfortable. After 4 rounds they are awesome. I wear spiked shoes when it rains and even though these shoes are water resistant I still don't like spikeless shoes when it rains. But that's my personal preference. Maybe I had low expectations but these are good shoes for those who want a spikeless option.

Thanks for posting a personal experience!  I expected them to be $160, $180 is just too much for this guy with how many other options there are out there.  I'd try a pair for $90 but there are too many other attractive options at that price point.

Anyone have any experience with the new water PROOF version they came out with? Have heard mixed reviews on the spikeless bottoms, but they've started coming out with more colorways.

Was able to snag a pair of the waterproof versions on Ebay - initial review is that they are very comfortable, light, and certainly help with any internal pronation when walking.  Don't think the spikeless nubs will do well in wet conditions, but seems like a good dry weather shoe.
