Thoughts of Playing Bare foot?

Ya I'll stick with shoes, thank you.  After the spray tech tells you a few times to wear gloves and use knee pads today while working on the greens.  I think I'll take his word!

I personally tried it when I played in Fiji during my honey moon. I gave it a shot following the Old Bears QB after I saw him doing so on some pro am on television. It is to say the least a stretch in terms of benefit to looking out of place on a golf course if you didnt wear any shoes. To each there own but not enough to continue doing it.

In our region they can not be used without posting a sign with details on where they were sprayed an how much. I live in a in family environmentally friendly area with agrees IPM laws, so I appreciate that may not be the norm for some people.

The water they use for the golf course is reclaimed water from ponds. Don’t drink it. Don’t bathe in it. Don’t swim in it. It is a pool of runoff from the various chemicals and bird feces that gets recycled and sprayed back on the course full of bacteria and whatever else. 
 

You’re walking on recycled bird crap with bare feet. Not my cup of tea, but you do you. 

 

I sure am glad I live in way purer country than u do. On my course irrigation water comes from a river with trouts living in it.
