Stroke lab shaft length and weight

I understand that the combined grip and butt end weight for the Stroke Lab shafts should be 105 grams. But is that for a standard 35" length?

 

So if I wanted to switch to a grip that weighs 85g, obviously I need to switch to a 20g shaft weight, in standard 35" length.

 

I'm playing at 33". Does a shorter shaft need a bit less weight in the grip end?

I had 2 34" stroke lab putters that had a swingweight of D5 stock OTR.  If you go shorter to 33" and add more grip weight by 10-15g the swingweight will probably drop to C8-D0.  The overall dead weight of the putter by adding a heavier grip will go up.   Should you take away some weight in the grip? I assume you are talking about the 30g bullet weight Odyssey uses to counterbalance....it depends what feels comfortable to you.  It may feel good to you as is...or you may want to take away grip weight or add head weight to achieve a different swing weight feel.

I use a toulon that was cut from 34" to 33" and i cant tell a difference from my other toulon that wasnt cut

I just bought a 34 inch 2 ball ten and removed the grip, which was the thicker stroke lab grip.

 

Grip weighs 65 grams, weight plug is 40 grams.  Total of 105 grams.

 

Plan to replace with a Tour SNSR 140 cc that weighs 124 grams.
