Scotty Cameron Tour Rat Concept 1 GSS insert

[GSS ONLY]

I had this made at the gallery in 2014. I always wanted a BLACKED out putter but I think I prefer grey color as I get older. The feel is heavy and firm. 
My pops has a LOT of scottys but he loves his tour rat. He has many GSS but ONLY games his TOUR RAT. 
 

I get depressed at the retail offerings Scotty brings to market. But they sell.

 

Funny story, my father and I were T the gallery 2013-2014 when they first really opened in San Diego. We go thru all 3 hours of fitting. Fly home get the putters 3 months later. The gallery calls us and say they forgot to charge us. LOL. My dad was very upset bc the KID that was running the fitting was NOT writing anything down. I hate people who think they can remember everything. I never saw that kid again bc I have been to the gallery many times since.

Who cares about someone else.  Worry about yourself and be happy with who you are.  Jealousy is a bad thing to become consumed with.  
 

For those who have disposable incomes that can afford many 4-5 digit putters, or whatever, good for them.  I’m happy in my own piece of the world and have absolutely no jealousy or envy with what others have.  This attitude helps keep me happy and grounded.

It's all in how you perceive life. Entitlement is a epidemic in the states. I'm thankful that we can see the positive in life and understand that if you want more you have to work for it.

I don't think @GSS ONLY intended for his post to turn into a debate on who's rich / who's not as rich, how the "rich" choose to spend their $$, do expensive golf clubs make players happier, etc. etc.

Definitely not. Terrific putter especially in black.  
 

Problem with some people is their blatant jealousy of what others have.  These people haven’t walked one step in someone else’s shoes and cannot possibly know what they have had to go through to get where they are.  If those who complain about what others have simply make good, rational, choices in terms of profession and finance then maybe they’ll have their own piece of what they obviously covet.  Worry about yourself instead of what others have.

Personally I'm not a fan of the look of the Super Rat's, maybe it's just the cherry bombs in the cavity, I do love the look of the Tour Rat's, wish those came in LH. But aside from this and back on topic I'm surprised the Studio Style line isn't more popular having the GSS insert, it's basically a "poor man's Super Rat".

 

I wonder if Scotty did another Studio Style type insert would they be popular? The Super Rat's seem to have a following these days and I'm sure people would want a GSS insert. And OP cool putter and story.
