That’s awful. I had no idea the badge was plastic. If the back of the new T200 is plastic, I will not be purchasing them.

I asked earlier in this thread or one of the other threads if the back of the T200 was a plastic/polymer with shiny paint or some aluminum backing...Don't know why it didn't hit me earlier after seeing the above pic do we need to rethink if they backing is actually plastic/polymer

Like someone said when I asked, that would be cheap but now I'm back to wondering...I think I'm going back to my original plans of getting MP22

Although that could change again 😂

I'm gonna have to see these in person. I'm either gonna love them or hate them. From the pics they look good. I hope they don't do much to jack with the performance. The current T100S are the best irons I've ever played. Unless they are able to add a little more forgiveness there's nothing they can do to improve them. They're gonna have to blow me away to change.

Hope these feel as good as they look. Really liked the look of the apex pro 21 but very disappointed with the feel.

Will bag these if they feel half way decent!

Same here, Apex Pro had early AP2 vibes to me 712 or 714ish. The feel was just a touch a firm and not super fast feeling, so might just be my preference but it was really good looking in person.

T200 are stupid good. They honestly look like a set of AP2's. Titleist is going to sell a ton of them.  I'll likely have 1 or more for a driving iron/long iron replacement. U505 is also extremely hot, but very chunky. Not exactly a players club but it's good.

Is it same size as the u510 or bigger ?

I hit the T100, T100S and T200 today. They look really sharp. The top line of the T200 is noticeably thicker than the other two, but not so bad I wouldn’t play it in a long iron.

I started with the 200, then S, then 100. I was surprised when the T100 was going nearly as far as the T200.

I’ve been playing the AP2 712’s for nearly ten years. I would lean towards the T100 based on the similar lofts to what I’m used to.

I was also surprised that the T100 6-iron was going at least a club longer than my 6.

I’ve been fit for new irons several times but the verdict each time was to keep my old ones. I think these 712’s are about to be retired.

It’s been a good run!

I just noticed that Speith has a combo bag of T100 and T200 in his bag at The Open. Of course, I am not sure of the exact mix, but would imagine he has mostly T100 with a 3-iron and/or 4-iron T200.

he has tested and practiced with the T200 2 iron but not put it in play.

I love this quote from Spieth.

“I don’t understand why you’d play any other iron to be honest,” Spieth said. “I joke around, ‘I’m not good enough to play the blades,’ but in reality, I think we’re just being smarter. I think we’re just like, ‘Oh, we can actually hit every shot that a blade can hit.’ But that chance that we mishit them – which we’re going to mishit a few shots in a round, even in a great round, the idea that it does carry that bunker and you make birdie on a hole where someone has to get up and down for par – I mean, it could be the difference in a tournament.”

Adam Scott is apparently using a T100 2 iron. No way that's coming to retail, right?

Actually it is a T100 3 iron, at 2 iron length.   See latest updates below:

• Jordan put in T100’s and T200 2-iron (no 3-iron)

• JT put in T200 2-iron

• Adam put in TSi4 and the T100 3-iron (built at 2-iron length/loft)

• Other T-200 2-irons in play: Bernd Wiesberger, Charley Hoffman

Make this point all of the time in fittings. Spot on.

I hear ya.  Pros will listen, but yet some recreational players stick to the old "blades will make me a better ball striker" way of thinking 🙂
