Just wondering if anyone else is noticing that the face of their T-100(s) irons getting nicked up pretty easily or easier then previous generations of irons from hitting balls?

My irons are showing a lot of wear already from just 2 rounds and a couple range sessions. And I’m hitting good clean range balls during those sessions.

Absolutely love my new irons despite them looking like I have had them for a year already.

Oh, excuse me for posting in the 2021 Titleist iron thread about my 2021 Titleist irons, was just stating that I did not see the same on the T200, and had played a decent amount of rounds.

my apologies that I don’t hit a wedge 150……

🤦🏻‍♂️Relax dude. If you re-read my original post, I specifically asked about the T-100 and T-100s. But thanks for chiming in! Hope you get some battle scars on those brand new looking clubs. 😂😂

My 2019 T100's looked like that after a round or two. I haven't taken my new ones out on the course yet, but judging from above it looks like they'll be the same.

Almost looks like a defective ball scratched the club face a bit. Some of you had me concerned my irons will do this. It is inevitable snd after my first range session i noticed the marks on my club face from the ball. I went home and cleaned my irons like i do before every round and it all came off with a little TLC.

Tested T100 today off a mat I know well and it gives me a great idea of whether things are efficient or not through the ground. Compared to my Miura or the ZX7 there was some noticeable grabbiness with the T100 I did not like. Tested 2019 T100 against it and preferred how smooth the 2019 was through the ball. Not sure why they did away with the preworn edge but I'm not a fan of what they've done with it. For what it's worth I also hit the Blueprint a bunch and found the Blueprint just as or more forgiving than the T100. Average ball speed was 129 with Blueprint 7i and 127 (which is low for me) with the T100. 130 with my Miuras.

Update on the grips situation: called Titleist today and said how I heard they might be waiting on golf pride tour velvet midsized. They said they’re getting a shipment in Monday and then another the week after. So for me who is waiting on the amt black shafts there shouldn’t be an issue. They also mentioned because I ordered august 19th this next shipment of grips should cover me but anyone who has ordered recently might be waiting until a early November shipment.

Does anybody know if the stock set of t100 is on backorder?

Looks like they are in stock on Carls Golfland and a few others. TGW says they are backordered and will be in stock on 9/29. I wouldn’t order direct through Titleist though or else you risk further delays.

So I got my irons delivered yesterday, WooHoo. Ordered those from fairway jockey second week of August. I also ordered a u505 3 iron direct from Titleist on 7/29. My last update from Titleist customer service a few weeks ago was that they were expecting the back-ordered heads to come in on 9/20. Seeing no movement on my order, I called this morning. They said all the components were in and weren't sure why there hasn't been any movement on the build. They put a priority designation on the order, upgraded to overnight shipping ,and are going to send me some ProV1x's (not sure how many). All good in my book, but it does make me wonder if others such as their preferred accounts or sales reps are putting "priority" on their orders and leap-frogging average joe's like myself who have been patiently waiting. Bottom line: their customer service is great and it does not hurt to contact them.

That's a little tiny rock, there wouldn't be a way for you to tell if it was a rock that small at impact between the ball and club. There are tons of then in the grass/dirt and you probably kicked a little one up at right before impact

Ordered my T100's July 29th from Titleist, called last month for a status and they told me the shafts I wanted were back ordered so I switched to something in-stock.  Called again 7 days ago and they said they had all the components but they were not built.  They promised they would add me to priority build/shipping and have them out within 7-10 days with overnight shipping.  Still nothing but they did send me a T100 golf towel for the inconvenience...

It is a nice waffle towel. With how this is playing out the towels might be back ordered now too 🙂

I got my irons in weeks ago and they sent me a towel later too lol. Glad i didn’t have to deal with the back order stuff i dealt with with my MP20s earlier this year.

Get out! Congrats....I called Titleist last Friday and my order is still delayed due to shafts.  My order was in on 7/24 with AMT white s300.

Yeah it really $ucks bad!!! I bet the shafts have been sitting in port for weeks now. I ordered mine on 8/2 with Nippon Modus 125x. Last I heard was they will ship by the end of the month. However I don’t see it happening. If they don’t show progress by Friday I’m canceling and waiting for the new Mizuno line.
