yea....you could be right on that....and thats an issue for me....that really sux if that is the case

The retailers are kept in the dark more than the consumer. I was at a large retailer this weekend and asked them if the demo heads for T-100, etc. had been pulled. They told me "yes", but they had no idea why. I told them about the new irons coming and they had no idea. Like guys that get into the golf business and then never play golf, the retailers really do not know much about what is coming and when. Mainly because the manufacturers do not want them telling you about new stuff and to wait. Now, you were unfortunately caught up in this, but it was not a sinister plot to work you over.

Unpopular opinion here. Most of these look really good, but the T-100's re giving me that cheap, Nike SlingShot vibe and I think they're ugly. The current T-100 is a beautiful iron.

My bet, is they ended up making the new T300's only to realize they just made a perfect mixture of the u500 and u510 and just scrapped the T300 name all together. They will probably have not as strong of lofts as the current T300's so you can blend them better in the long irons. I would expect the u505 go from 2-PW though.

Unfortunately, the current T100 irons are about as good as it gets for me, dont see me switching any time soon.

The retailers know but they may not tell the staff working the sales floor or they do but since some OEM’s offer spiffs to move old product, the staff won’t say anything for fear of missing out on a “money” sale.

I’ve been a PGA Golf Pro for 38 years and have seen how it works first hand with big box golf retailers

U505 will be the utility replace the U500 and U510 more of a combination of the two clubs and the T300 will still be in the lineup.

So the previous mention of the T100 and T100s being two entirely different irons is incorrect...it’s the same as last year...the s model is the exact same iron with stronger lofts?

is it safe to assume the T200 will be similar in performance to the previous model in terms of being a true players distance iron?

The T100 and 100S look to have a satin/brushed chrome(or not a shiny chrome) look which I love.  Looking forward to in-hand photos of the face and look at address.

They have already passed "Tour Validation" and you will see them at retail soon. They work with Tour players all through the development. I believe that is true of most OEM's.

But their news release said that they're going through the Tour Validation process starting today.  How could they lie about that?

I hear ya....but as a Titleist partner, they should know......and even when i spoke to Titleist directly (to check on my order), the answer was the same. Titleist customer service was so good with my order, when they saud the "S" line was not due for an update this cycle, i believed them. This was just over a month ago

Tour Validation is nothing more than fancy terminology for, “our tour players are now putting these into play.” Validation just means they are in the bags of the tour players. The testing/approval process is long over.

At the end of the day you have a 2 year gap. And there will be a new rendition regardless. Buy sell or trade to get the next best thing. Best of luck

yea, but this was a 1 year cycle and Titleist telling customers there are no plans to updateRN, jst so they can sell out their current heads is not the way to conduct business....

i love Titleist and theur customer service has always been amazing......but they failed here IMO

From this point fwd, its a 2 year cycle now that they aligned everything

How was this a 1 year cycle?  T100 came out nearly 2 years ago?

It's proven already here that some favor the first t100-t100s over this new rendering. You can recoupe your money buy putting on bst with no Wait for the new buyer... always have to see the positive in things.

Anyone here about shaft offerings in these irons?

All the specs/pricing and ordering info is typically released 4 weeks or so after the tour seeding, so you will probably here all that in mid to late July with fittings beginning shortly after.

They used to refer to it as Tour Seeding.  It just means available for the tour players to use on tour.
