the T200's look a lot like a set of 990's I had back in the day 🙂

Interested to learn more about the U505's... I play T300's today.  Think those are coming later?

Yes. T300 isn't a "tour iron" so wouldn't be getting tour validation. Pretty sure it was the same last time around 🤔

I guess we will have to agree to disagree but thanks for trying to dunk on me.

I don’t either. T200 is different to my eye - you’re not wrong, Greg!

On another note, people who work the sales floors aren’t as invested as some on GolfWrx. You’d be surprised at how many people in golf corporate offices DON’T play golf. I used to work corporate retail and we had to keep quiet on a lot of new releases. Doesn’t always get down to sales floors but some guys get inside information on items. Sucks for those who just ordered but it happens all the time. I’m glad I got my 620 CB irons - LOVE them.

I just got ZX7s with PX shafts.

These are so sexy they make me want me to already move on from my new purchase.

Maybe my reasonable conscious will kick in and convince me to buy a “winter” set with softer shafts!

A blended T100 and T200 4/5

you can't be serious if you just bought the ZX7's, why you would just move away from them I'm sure after the new PING i59's come out or new Callaway's and don't forget Mizuno will be launching a newer model soon you will be wanting them. This ZX7's are some pretty sweet irons, you would be crazy to get rid of them

I see some similarities. I mean I think that’s the whole point of titleist doing the “concept” irons is that it’s something they’re working on for the future. I mean they are not a direct copy but I see some of the softness of the lines and stuff. What’s great also is that it’s your opinion and we all get to have one.

I put more weight in function vs. fashion. So here’s hoping they kept the perfect sole design of the T100. And the power bar across the middle is to position cog for best compromise  ball flight (within a range of shafts, accounting for different swings).

Looks-wise, this last year’s model has it.

Having slept on this overnight I think that while I am definitely a T100 player, I prefer the clean back of the T200 irons. I think the strip of textured metal on the T100's/T100S' looks a bit tacky. I hope it's actually useful and not for aesthetics.

But I'm sure they'll look great in person.

Did someone say "Slingshot" because if not, someone should. Titleist may have refined the look, but the concept looks to be out of the same playbook. Thinking I'll wait until the 622 CB's get announced and launched before evaluating the 2022 Titleist irons.

They all have simulator traits, same with all the new hollow designs. You can't really change much on iron tech just like wedges and putters. All the lofts are changing dramatically to call them distance irons these days.

Showed that comparison to two players and three other reps and none them saw any similarity either. But everyone has they own view/opinions so you’re not wrong I just don’t see it

I'm not a fan of the new T100 look. T200s look $$ and so do the 505s.

Still loving my 718 AP2's and these don't really tempt me but I do like the direction the 100's have moved in.

That said, to my eye the T-200 is basically a rebadged CNCPT.

Only thing that is similar would be the chrome and satin. Other than that, also not seeing any similarity. Quite different actually.

Tea leaves...

2019 T-100/T-100S "FORGED" on hosel but 2021 T-100/T-100S "FORGED -" does right dash have any significance?  On Pro V1 left dash means lower spin.  Right dash = ???

2019 T-200 no "FORGED" on hosel and now "FORGED -" on hosel along with U505.

Wondering why Titleist made that design choice on hosel...thoughts?

There seems to be a trend now to brand some hollow body irons forged, when they have for example forged faces but the iron is not forged, eg P790s.  Maybe Titlelist is jumping on this marketing bandwagon which is disappointing because I would be surprised if the T200 is not hollow or put another way - Id be surprised if its forged from one piece of metal, which I think is what "forged" really means?  I dont claim to be an expert though.  What do others think on this point?

Thumbs up Titleist! 👍🏼👍🏼 From a design and looks perspective it seems like really good has become even better. Don’t expect much or any changes in lofts over current designs. Design wise, I think the T200 is a “Bulls Eye”: Hidden tech in a sleek and easy to clean and keep tidy design.  Looking forward to put these on the ground in front of me, to examine how they all blend and mix…..😊 Might even consider keeping my old Trusty 716CB:s and have my 718 T-MB:s 4i & 5i replaced by T200. Future will tell…..
