2021 Titleist T100 irons (in hand photos) - Travelers Championship

Recommended Posts

Best looking version from the back including the AP2's.......EXCEPT FOR, you ready for this................the ROUND TOE.......YUCK!!!  C'mon Titleist, bring back the square toe......I understand some like the round toe look but I don't, leave round toes to the wedges.......If this new version had a squarish toe it would be the best looking iron titleist has every produced IMHO.  Anyhow, that's my rant...don't hate.

Totally agree, real square irons are hard to find these days unless you go über custom. Titleist has moved rounder and rounder these last few iterations.

Will be interesting to see if Titleist hollow-body give any speed bump with a hotter face? I wouldn't expect much considering the target audience for these irons but the Callaway Apex Pro is a little hotter than previous models.

Like many already said, I like the cleaner look to the back of the irons. Can't wait to see some reviews on these.

Yikes!!!  Awful looking irons.  Look Cheap and Clunky.  Really looks more like a GI or SGI.  Not a fan.

This is the 6 iron.. where is the clunk?

It is pretty shocking pros will play irons with all of that so called clunk lol

People will play anything if they get paid enough or the club for free.

Titleist hasn't won a major since 2017.  Over the last 5 years they have had the most professionals using their gear and 2 major wins to show for it.  Srixon probably had the least pro's of any manufacturer and has just as many win's in that time period.  In Fact, the T100 has never had a Major win.

As someone that has played many Titleist irons over the years, highly disappointed in the look of the pw from address, will reserve full judgement until actually see in person, does not look promising.

Nope.  They are awful looking.  I am not the only one that feels that way.  About the only people thinking these look good are Titleist Fan Boy's.

I've never owned Titleist irons because I've always felt there have been much better looking irons in each one of their line-ups to give them a try.  I've never liked the way their cavity back badges look since I started playing (first AP2), and it includes the last T100's.  These however are easily the best looking iron (outside of blades) Titleist has made since I've been playing (again, og AP2 timeframe).

I do however see your point that the "bump" running across the back of the iron would have looked much better with had it been "smooth" (e.g no bump).

Still, as a non Titleist fanboy, these will likely be a try for me.

Hey heavy,

This is interesting data, thanks for it!

Also, curious how you know Titleist has the most equipment used on tour. is it readily available somewhere?

Thanks in advance!

They have definitely taken a different approach. Pay more of the "lower end guys" so the brand is constantly in your face vs. the TM approach where they are just trying to pay the top guys.

I’m a Titleist fan who has owned the t100s and really like the 620MB,  but this design is not appealing in anyway.  Almost looks unfinished with that pocket or something from a few generations back.  Just not a fan.

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
