Okay. I’m clearly missing something. How are the T200’s still embargo’d if they released the same info on the T100/s, U505, and T200 this morning?

The T100 looks better than the instagram photos but still not sold on them.

I want to see the T200s and if they look as good as their insta photos.

I normally play 5-PW in my current set plus wedges but the T200 lofts will probably be jacked so I may go 6-Gap and add Vokey wedges

Wish Titleist would get rid of the P if they're going to put the degree on there

T100/s and U505 will have a presence on tour and people will see them there. Unlikely that T200 will be seen during TV coverage so they can hold those out a little longer. 
 

Edit: T200 are on their website, this makes no sense.

yeah, most likely full set of T100 or T100/s long irons and MB or CB short irons

I'm not a big fan of the matte finish but will buy them simply for the lack of offset and the shaping. Well done to Titleist.

These pics make them look better than the last I saw. Especially from address.  But I can’t believe they didn’t carry over the sole design.  That is the best part of the current t100.

Essentially Loft, T100s have stronger lofts

These irons appear to have much less camber than the last T100 model. Particularly on the leading edge, which is not great news for anyone that is a digger like me.

Agreed.  That was a feature I really liked in the T100 and the CB irons.  Was hoping to see Titleist stick with that.

Personally I found the sole of T100 to have too much bounce. Struggled with it a bit. Did much better with CB. Could be down to different turf conditions that we play in the UK.

The original AP3 was the wannabe AP2 but more forgiving. The T200 upgraded to a forged face. The T100s is fully forged. Matching lofts so you use T100s in 6-PW and more forgiving T200 for 4/5 irons. The T100s won’t be made more forgiving - that is the T200.

TXG did a video on the last model. Its not just loft. Other wise they wouldn't release a separate product just for loft when you could just bend the standard to make the S. I don't recall all the specifics but it wasn't just loft.

Sorry for the noobie question, but what is a TPU (or TPE) insert?  Is it like the 'speed slot' on the sole of the P790's?

I have seen that video and seen the numbers when they adjusted both clubs to the same loft, they can say this and that about cg and the sole but they both performed exactly the same when the loft was the same

thermoplastic poly urethane or themoplastic elastomer. Typically used to dampen vibrations for feel. Usually a lighter weight material as well, so it is possible to redistribute weight for MOI and or COG  purposes.
