Yes, but there's a reason why long drive champions aren't on tour. Bryson has moments of brilliance when his whole game comes together. But lately he's been pretty spotty. 

 

The Masters? T46 - 15 off the lead. US Open? T26 - 9 off the lead.

 

Today? +1. Seven off the lead. Note that there are 73 people at even or better. Top 70 players and ties will make the cut at the Open. In other words, if the cut was today, he'd miss it.

 

If he can takes lines no one else can, he ought to think about, like, pointing a few at the hole.

 

Plus, he's been whining a lot lately. Not really a fan right now.

Wind is about 15 mph, similar to yesterday in the afternoon.

 

Regarding the stimp, it rained hard here in the UK last weekend into the early part of this week so the course would’ve been soft yesterday. Should speed up as it drys out this weekend.
