When they show the leaderboard on TV it would be nice to add a column for what they're shooting in the current round...otherwise I am trying to remember where the players stood yesterday to see which direction they are heading.

If you practiced,  played on perfect greens and had great touch .....you too could make 35% of your putts inside 10ft!

Give me a break. That take has been around long before NLU. Johnny Miller, Elk even Britt golfers like Rose and many many others have talked about it. It was also all over when Westy, Rose, Donald were number 1. 

 

For the record I just listened to round 2 recap and didn't know they went into detail more. I had only listened to round one and it was a brief sentence but they poached it too!

Oozethuizen is the Tom Brady of second place finishes, he has second place locked up. The question is who is going to get first. Spiethster looks like he might take it down.

I feel Louis is not going to go anywhere til tomorrow.  He will at worst be maybe a stroke back at the end of the day but it'll be more likely due to Spieth playing well than him making mistakes

I would disagree. The direction can change with one shot.  More important to know where they are on the course, IMHO.

I'm disappointed in something I read earlier this week.  It was an article about the drinking game for this tournament.  Perhaps it was not for an NA audience, but it's not really a drinking game if it doesn't include "Azinger saying the 'pressure is starting to get to him"

Its no coincidence that those on top of the leaderboard have been playing for fairways and no bomb and gouge nonsense.   Bryson's 200mph ball speed strategy isn't going to work.  He missed alot of fairways at Winged Foot also but his hot putter got it done that week.   200mph ball speeds = massive side spin at 5.5* loft = lots of missed fairways no matter how good your golf swing.  He would love his driver if he dialed it down to around 180mph. 😂 

I think it was too conservative unless his next club was a 3 wood which I'm not even sure would make it in the bunker with how soft it was. 18 was a birdie hole yesterday and he had 200 yards into it. He hit his birdie putt short dead center though.
