T100 s is based on loft. I play a combo of srixon right now.
Srixon is way more forgiving then t100.
the gist of my point is that I wish the t200 would just be a stronger loft one piece forged. Not a hallow body

Having played both, I'm not sure if "Way more forgiving" is how I'd describe it. A little friendlier, yes.

Still nothing new on the T200's?!

               ...sigh!

Don't expect any more official informatin for at least a month, it's usually 4 weeks or so after Tour Seeding that they release specs, announce fitting/order and PAR dates.

Titleist would just make their t200 in competition to a srixon zx7. Something that is one piece forged, feels great and goes far. I wouldn’t buy a t200 preciously because they were cast and I prefer not to play cast clubs based on feel.
I personally think that the bigger companies could learn a lot from srixon. Their game improvement irons look like players clubs.

T200 in competition with the ZX7s? Why would they do that? The T100 is already in that category. Maybe what you meant was, you just wished the T200 was a one piece Forged??? Also, if you like GI irons that look more like players clubs, check out Mizuno.

I wish I like mizuno. Haven’t liked feel ironically

Surely they would have in hand pictures sooner than a month from now since the other models came out

They would and do. But there normal practice is not to release any details until the official launch.  The only in hand pictures until then are likely to be from Greg on tour! And I wouldn’t be surprised if he is limited to what he can show.

I can say our pro got to see and hold them this past weekend.  He said that the T200s will be his long irons.  He said he was majorly impressed that the looks and performance were improved.

I’m really liking this idea too. This T200 looks great, I’d guess there will be a lot of T200’s in 4-6i combo’d with T100’s.

I would disagree. T100 has higher moi, and a larger c dim measurment. But to be fair its splitting hairs

Absolutely. There is no way ZX7 is way more forgiving than T100 as posted by someone earlier. I found them very similar in the forgiveness dept. Splitting hairs says it well. Forced to choose, I’d say T100 slightly friendlier.

Just held the T200 in my hand, sorry no pics.  They look great.  Blade length is the same as the T100.  Sole is a little wider with 90 grams of tungsten in the head, forged face.  I think they be the same loft so a mixed set will be easy to transition to.  The top line is just a little thicker than the T100, but I could still drool 🤤 I think these will be a winner for Titleist!!!

Thanks for sharing! How would you compare it to last year’s model in terms of size and profile? Also, any idea what the plating/badge material is on the back?

What about the offset? T200 first gen was unfortunately “impossible” for my eye regarding offset. Very curious about it for this iteration.

On the other hand, I will most likely end up in 4-P with T100s, 50-54-58 SM8s ☺️

Playing off hcp 3 and at least in my head I should be able to handle the T100s 😊

I only was able to see the 7 iron but the offset looked similar to the T100, so I'm hopeful the long irons are similar.  The heal to toe length is shortened and the sole was pleasing to my eye and narrower than the U500 and larger than the T100.  Just my first impression was that the T200 replaces the 718-MB nicely and I think we'll see a number of folks mix the sets. 🙂

Do you mean the 718 TMB?

It’s 2021; how does anyone belong to an online forum, hold new unreleased clubs people are drooling over and just think “nah, I won’t take a picture”

Super jealous nonetheless.

Probably wasn't allowed to take pictures...

I do with Titleist released more pictures though. Seems like the T200 has more showing interest

Currently playing the Titleist 718 AP3 irons.  Have over 500 rounds with them and they are getting a bit dinged up.  Never replaced them with the next generation of irons, the current T-200, because I could never get beyond the ugly back of the club.

The new T-200 irons are very interesting to me as they share the clean appearance of the AP3s with the added benefit of some forged components that might enhance feel.

Will be considering new irons at the end of the year and the new T100 and T200 irons will definitely be in the mix.
