Reshaft work in Atlanta?

Been away for a few years - life does happen!  
 

Anyway, looking to revitalize a set of Callaway RzrX irons - still deciding on the actual shafts but looking for some recommendations in the Atlanta area for a quality shop to get the work done. 
 

I used to go to Gary up in Alpharetta, but it’s been years and think he may have closed up shop by now.

Oh and as I’ve been away - any suggestions on new steel shafts out there would love to hear. Low ball hitter that needs some more height - moderate to quick tempo - last I checked iron swing speed was a modest low 80’s. Want something mid to lightweight. In my most recent set of Pings tried their stock graphite and ended up hating them. The Cally’s have DG300 stiffs in them and while they were pretty accurate as you can imagine with my swing speed noted and being a natural lower ball hitter was having to ‘work too hard’ later in the rounds - and now being in my late 50’s that would be even more the case.

Unless you are that sold on your RzrX irons, you'd likely be better off buying new or a good set of used sticks. They will have the latest technology and give you a chance to try shafts that better fit your swing. Edwin Watts on Piedmont in Buckhead always has several used sets as does PGA Tour Superstore in Roswell. 

 

If you are set on re-shafting (and that could be due to cost), you might consider Nippon 950s. I have them in stiff flex in my 2017 TaylorMade M1s. I have read they are slightly softer than many other stiff shafts and at 95 grams, they are easy to swing. I get great, but not overly high elevation and I just passed the big 60. Feel free to PM me if I can offer some specific input.

You might consider True Temper Dynalite Gold XP or the follow on XP95 or the new Elevate shafts.

 

Getting a used set of clubs with the shafts already in them would probably  be more cost effective.

Definitely intrigued by the elevate 105 in stiff. Tough to find in stock and more importantly for me finding the right guy/gal to install them when I get my hands on them. Was thinking of just taking them to one of my local PGA Superstores but that seems like a crap shoot unless you know specifically someone to request for the work.
